Story

The Talardy is a beautiful restored Georgian hotel, conveniently situated off the A55 in the newly ordained city of St Asaph. We offer a family friendly dining experience, serving our Rotisserie menu til 9pm daily and for the al fresco diner, we have a beautifully landscaped garden, with outdoor children's play area. The hotel comprises eleven stylish en suite bedrooms including two family suites. All our room rates are inclusive of a freshly cooked breakfast - the perfect way to end your stay. The Talardy is the perfect place for business, pleasure or indeed any occasion

I really like this hotel and restaurant. I go here several times per year in business. The staff are always polite and helpful. Room rates are low. They have a large annexe built in the last few years that is well presented. Food is good and plenty to choose from.

Fantastic. Welcoming and helpful staff. Pub was clean and tidy. Food was standard pub food and presented very well. Room was above standard. Beds were very comfortable. Shower pressure strong and bath room very well kept. Noise was minimal to none. Air cooler / warmer worked and there was a nice view out our window. Staff went the extra mile for us knowing we had kids with special needs Highly recommend.

Hotel rooms above bar are very big and to a good standard . Rooms away from bar I’d say similar to travelodge standard 8/10. In the pub itself great food plenty of room to sit lots of staff friendly atmosphere. 8/10. Worth a visit

Wonderful waitress, couldn't be more helpful. Food was very nice, lunch exactly as expected for the £6 deal but more of it. Amazing chocolate pudding definitely having that again. Very accommodating for babies with good high chairs and I saw the lady clean them!! Never see that anywhere else. Definitely will return.

Service was good! Was overall clean, but could do with a bit of attention with a damp cloth! There where cobwebs hanging down frim the ceiling and the seats and tables looked grubby? Toilets where clean and tidy, but the paintwork had graffiti scratched into it? My food was delayed, as they had to cook me another steak, as the chef was not happy with the size of it? When the food did arrive however, there was nothing to complain about, it was very tasty and cooked well!
