The Dinorben Arms

About

Dinorben Arms in Bodfari is one of the latest additions to the Brunning and Price group of pub restaurants. Opening early 2017.

"The Dinorben Arms sits in the heart of the small village of Bodfari, nestled in the shadows of St Stephen's church. The building is steeped in history and loved by many who remember her of old; 1970's dinner dates in the beamed snug at the front of the building which greets you as you enter via the front doors or childhood memories of peering into the old well which now sits in front of our bar. A tall tower has been added to the rear of the building with a spacious terrace, to take in the glorious views across the stunning hills beyond. We hope you will find her a seamless mix between old and new."

Lovely attentive time staff and beautiful setting with panoramic views in car park. Consistency as always with this company our local is Sutton Hall. Lovely hot tasty food and a good pint of Timothy Taylor what more could you want.
Really lovely pub, amazing views, great quality food & reasonable prices. Friendly staff & good service. Well worth a visit.
Stopped here on way home from a trip to Wales, as recommended by family member. What a recommendation, stunning place, with large roof terace offering great views. The staff were helpful and friendly & the food was outstanding, the bar had a good selection of ales, guest ale & wines. Will definitely be revisiting on out next trip.
Lovely pub in a beautiful part of Wales. Excellent food and pleasant, efficient service. Highly recommended. Plenty of parking but be warned, it can be a steep climb after a good meal!
Classy establishment. Gastro pub food. Cocktail was a little pricey at £10 but it was delicious. Main portion size was great. But starter seemed a little small. 8 people ate here for £270 + tip.
Went here for my partner's birthday! Potted pork was really tasty and spreads nicely on the toasted bread. Salad alongside it really nice and refreshing, had a fruity taste to it. Crackling was okay but bit too hard for my teeth unfortunately. Braised lmab shoulder was really good too. Really nice and tender and the gravy compliments the lamb well. Mash is also nice and fluffy. I'm sure her family loved it too and I really recommend this place. Lovely atmosphere. Just a nice pub in the countryside really...
Lovely food in a glorious setting. However massively understaffed and the bar staff did not ask "who's next?". 1 person pushed ahead of me and I let it go as I thought she was just asking to be shown to a table she had booked for 11 people. The member of staff then took drinks orders for all 11 in the party before showing them to their table. Then another person got served ahead of me. The man, who looked like the manager, apologised for my wait and joked that my partner probably thought I'd gone home as I'd been standing at the bar for half an hour. He then had a conversation about clearing up vomit with another customer. Not pleasant to listen to when ordering food she actually rude to carry out a conversation when serving me. I really enjoyed my salad and thought it was a decent sized portion. My partner enjoyed his pie and thought the quality and quantity was great. Compliments to the chef. No compliments for the bar staff.
This place has fond memories for me, as growing up in the area was a great place to socialize and eat. When I visited just recently with family and friends, it was a lovely surprise, as it has had a complete transformation. Lots of space, great decor, dog friendly. Choice the roast beef dinner which didn't disappoint. Additionally, had a great selection of homemade deserts, which were amazing. Furthermore, after our meal we made use of the lovely views from the rooftop seating, rather stunning. I would definitely recommend this place if your visiting the area, driving through, or if your local.
A Very welcoming and warm reception from the staff who all seem really happy and pleased to see you. The atmosphere is really nice and the views picturesque. The food is really nice and the portions just right. We managed to get a table outside as we had our dog with us and it was really busy which is always a good sign. This was recommended to us by a person staying next door where we have been stopping on holiday and like I am going to recommend to you, you will not be disappointed.
The service from walking in the door to leaving was excellent. This was our first meal without the kids for 24yrs and the whole experience made it so special for our 16th Anniversary. The food was excellent. Many Thanks
