This is an absolute gem of a place the views from the outside seating area and the bar was fantastic. We received a welcome second to none. The beers we chose we're excellent and the food was very nice. We will definitely be back again

Lovely pub friendly staff, stunning views, dog friendly and very welcoming. We had a meal there it was very good home cooked food and great value would highly recommend to anyone well worth a visit.

This is the best value for money pub I have been to in the Lake District by far. I have been visiting the lakes for over 25 years and I was very impressed! Great selection of ales and food of a very high standard. Portion sizes were generous and service was excellent even at a time busy time. I will definitely return soon. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

The Swinside inn has overlooked the stunning scenery of Newlands valley for years and though it's moved with the times, has retained it's character and charm. It has also overheard many a lively tale or reminiscense of the people who return to the delights of the valley and the inn. It is quite expensive but the food is of good quality and the ale is excellent and the staff are great.
