Fantastic. Great food. Great service. Lovely cafe...what more can I say. It's a c2c pit stop and I bet they love the calories to keep them going from the great cakes they do.

The Chalet just has to be recommended. There is a good selection of food and drinks on the menu as well as daily specials, all at reasonable prices. The decor is lovely with the end wall being covered in slices of wood logs. Despite the busy lunchtime service, the staff were friendly, smiling, welcoming and so efficient. The place was very clean and the food was perfectly cooked. I could not find anything not to like :-).

Lovely place to stop off for a snack or a drink.. whether you've been hiking around Derwent and need a rest or out for a stroll, it's a lovely environment to relax in. I always try to pop in for a mid day sausage sandwich and a cuppa during my yearly Keswick trips. The staff have always been very welcoming and supportive and it's been a genuinely nice place to watch the weather go by.. I've only been in at Christmas time, and it's very tastefully festive.. enjoy every visit

We have just stopped of after a long walk and had the most amazing lunch. the food was superb and the staff very helpful and friendly would come back here again any day of the week mmmmmmm

Really lovely coffee & staff friendly but there's not much to eat for veggies and nothing for vegans but fresh air!
