Great coffee and food , best in Keswick and dog free !!

We popped in for coffee and a snack. We were welcomed despite been dripping wet and having a soggy dog with us. Coffee and snack were perfect. A very nice experience. Thank you

Drinks arrived 20 mins after our tea cakes so they had gone cold.... no apology given for the wait, really disappointed as we have had good service in the past

I visited this cafe almost 15 years ago and remembered it as a high point of a visit to the Lakes District. (At least I think it was the same cafe!) This time I visited the cafe with kiddies in tow and it didn't disappoint. We came for desserts and refreshments. We had delicious homemade scones, sticky toffee pudding and toffee sauce, shortbread biscuits, old-fashioned homemade raspberry lemonade, and well-made strong coffees. Everything was of very high quality and bursting with flavour. The staff are quick and very friendly. The aspect up in the loft is lovely. And the kids adored the "secret" playhouse one floor below. This is going to continue to be part of the ritual of a visit to the Lakes District. Flawless.
