I always prefer shopping in booths. You will get a great shopping experience and great products. A lot of local businesses products are available in Keswick booths, A good way to empower the local economy. The hot food section is large enough and it is quite convenient for travellers.
BEWARE OF THE NEW PARKING FINE SYSTEMnI love this store and the friendly staff, but if you choose to park here be aware that your vehicle must _leave the car park_ no more than 2hr 0 minutes and 0 seconds after the camera recorded you entering.nOn a Monday in Jan 2025 when the car park was less than half full I was 2 mins and 30 seconds beyond the two hour limit when I went to the ticket machine, and it would not even let me pay for the two hour parking. I even downloaded the car park payment app and made payment for the 2 hours in the app. Despite this, my appeals to both the parking company and Booths were rejected, and so it ended up costing me a £50 fine to be able to spend £35 in Booths that afternoon.
Very good shop, love all the unique variety of foods they serve, hoping one opens near me!
Love this place. Like Waitrose on steroids. And not for my weekly shop, due to the prices. But it has a few things I can't get anywhere else. The garlic is enormous! The staff are all wonderful in store, and I've found the customer service extremely helpful when contacted out of hours.
Some very good quality food, but variable quality of fresh fruit and vegetables. Great selection of beers. Gets very busy at tourist arrival times. Car park free for an hour and nearly always has places so good for quick trips to the town.
