Great people, extremely helpful and professional. Answered all our questions in detail and found us a good place to rent. John especially, the property manager, was exceptionally friendly and helped us immensely, with our first time in the UK jitters!

I would never rent with Swayes again. Myself and my partner lived in horrible conditions with penetrating damp, mold and disrepair throughout the property we wanted to move out but were unable to afford to do so until earlier this year. We lived with leaking refuse water in our kitchen for over 6 months with little done to help the problem. After contacting Swayes on almost a daily basis for weeks we eventually had to involve the city council.
I hope that Swayes have learned that they cannot treat tenants with such a complete and utter lack of respect. As an agency their number one priority should be the health and safety of their tenants...however I don't feel that this is currently in practice.

BEWARE - SWAYES (Fraudulent People) - I was about to rent a property from swayes  (Fraudulent People) few months back and paid admin fee £ 250 + £725 Deposit But after 1-2 week time I have been informed that I cannot rent this property because I have CCJ. Other options given to me were to provide Guarantor or rent in advance for tenancy period. None of these options were practical in my situation. so I decided to withdraw my tenancy application thinking I have to loose the admin fee .  But SWAYES (Fraudulent People) management's mala fide intentions were clear when they told me that not only the admin fee , my deposit also has been forfeited as stated in their terms and started to threaten me just like mafia don. Then I had to take this matter with Ombudsmen and they advised me they cannot keep my deposit and after nearly 2 months legal correspondence I got my deposit back. Although I lost my admin fee but its a blessing in disguised I didn't rent with Fraudulent People. I would say these kind of people are bringing just the shame. SHARE AND SAVE OTHERS
