One of the best meals we've had in a long time. Myself and my fiance were visiting friends in Wimborne and it was also their first time trying this restaurant as it was recently recommended to them by their employer. The meat platter to start was delicious and we all got a plate with gorgeous bread with oil and balsamic. I got the cod for mains and it was beautifully cooked. The men got sirloin and they described it as sensational. The desserts were also exceptional. To top it off the wine was amazing and the staff were just the friendliest and the most mannerly I've come across.
One word: Excellent! Stopped by when we drove back from the beach. As tourists in the UK we were tired of all the messy pubs with basically the same food and ended up in this restaurant. Couldn't have been better! This is the atmosphere and the food we were craving for after two weeks. Fresh and delicious food in a warm and cozy setting. Staff was very friendly and correct. Of course.. it's a bit more pricey than a pub, but the food and ambience is totally worth it. By far the best restaurant I've been in years, but unfortunately can't come back anytime soon.
Very good food, nice atmosphere, well presented. I had pulled beef burger & my party had sea bass, truffle fries with parmesan. All very tasty & service very good too. Everyone said hi.
Superb in every way, delicious food beautifully presented and served in a full of character restaurant. Flavour full and friendly. Book early to save disappointment. The talented head Chef and his team cook me the best plaice on the bone I have ever had. My wife had hake which was equally beautifully cooked. Spectacular cheese board and the poached pear and Panna cotta was sent from heaven !
We had an evening meal booked mid-week and due to changes in plans, asked to move the booking forward, which was kindly accommodated. The staff were helpful in selecting dishes and honestly highlighting options. One of us had the three course set menu and the other selected from the main menu. All meals were delicious and beautifully presented. The calamari with sriracha sauce was excellent, as was the cheese souffle. My only comment on the food was that the bread and butter pudding had a bit of a meaty taste, perhaps because it was warmed in an oven with main dishes, but on the whole, was a perfect and romantic meal. Highly recommended!
A lovely meal in a very nice setting. Really enjoyable evening. Staff were very attentive and couldnt do enough for us. Definately going back! Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices avaliable
A lovely restaurant. A friendly welcome on arrival. Service was efficient and excellent. The food was excellent too. Chef and kitchen staff were spot on with prompt plate service and food was very tasty and good variety on the menu. You must book though. It's a very popular restaurant.Food: 4/5
We absolutely loved our 15th anniversary dinner here. Inviting atmosphere, friendly staff - the food looked amazing and tasted even better! We'll be back.
Absolutely delicious food and incredibly friendly and polite staff. This was our second time here and we will certainly be returning. Make sure you go there hungry as the portions are generous but certainly recommend.
Absolutely Blooming Amazing!!!! The staff are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about their menu. They were more than happy to make amendments to cover dietary requirements. Well worth the visit
