Long stay car park. £3.50 all day parking. Just 5 five minutes walk to town centre.
Parking is easy, priced reasonably, easy access to Saffron Walden High St, and Audley end estate. Avoid the far end near the sewage works, in hot weather a bit wiffy and full of flies.
Unsure if you can park there in the evening. It says it's closed so I'm not sure if that means you can park for free or if you can park there at all. It's the main parking area in saffron Walden so hopefully it is the former and it's free parking in the evening. Otherwise good parking location to get around saffron walden
Car park in Essex market town of saffron Walden Good value, paid £1.30 for two hours Only about five mins walk to town centre, probably needs better signage for this There are signs at the far end of car park and an excellent map but I parked in the middle!! - so set off in wrong direction Luckily I had read reviews and realised Payment by card and I think app as well No cash payment
Great size car park with easy to use parking meters....I think it was card only but very straightforward. I had not been to Saffron walden but easy access to the town from here to. Prices for parking I thought were reasonable although I can't remember exactly what they are. I will definitely use this car park whenever I visit from now on.
Good place to park for a short walk to town centre Parking charges very reasonable.. Only downside is there are no toilets, Not the best place to park for disabled people or those with pushchairs.
Car park seems a long way from Saffron Walden town centre when driving to it, but in reality not too long a walk. Had a quick walk through the maze. Nice touch! 2 pounds for 4 hours seemed reasonably priced. Saffron Walden nice town and very busy with it being market day...traffic also quite mad, making crossing narrow streets difficult at times
We are one of the motorhome tourists that are not catered for here. All the spaces are too small. Our campervan is 6m long and 2m wide Fiat Ducato base. Coaches are catered for, so why not us? Overnight stops are slowly becoming more common, and some towns even have sections for motorhomes where our waste can be emptied from on board storage tanks. Come on SW council please welcome us along side all the other kinds of tourist
Free parking on a Sunday with a short walk to the main town area.
Be careful there has been a spate of vandalism to cars and catalytic converters stolen from cars. No CCTV or regular patrols of police or parking enforcement officers means its an easy place to target cars.
