Be careful when using this service. Dropping off and picking up was great however found my car was scratched badly see photo on return. Because I didn't report it when picking car up at midnight in pouring rain, they will not claim any responsibility. Make sure you check your car fully when picking up and video your car when dropping off.
Compared to many other reviewers, we had a very positive experience with Meet & Greet at the Stansted Airport. We took pictures of the car and the fuel consumption before handing the key over to the reception and the car looked exactly the same on our arrival. The mileage increased by about 9 miles though which is probably related to the fact that the cars are not parked over a prolonged period of time just next to the terminal but are driven to another car park away from the airport, which perfectly makes sense and I have nothing against it. The customer service was very helpful and the whole process was very efficient. I rated 4* rather than 5* as the parking bays where you pick the cars from are quite narrow and possibly some damage that other reviewers referred to was caused by other drivers trying to leave the Meet & Greet area rather than the car park workers.
Very good service. I was in a little bit of rush. I arrived to the airport and quickly find this car park. Member of staff kindly pointed correct bay to drop my car off. Than indicated wherto check in. Very easy check in process. I left keys and get ticket and instructions for return. Collection was as smooth. Soon I was on. My way. Great stuff
My flight times have changed. So I've been attempting to contact someone to confirm our new check in time. I think I've amended on line but every time email replys back confirming old time. I know we have 6hrs. Grace coming back. I have constantly been on the phone they say max time you'll hold is up to 6 mins. Try over half hour and still no response. Meet & Greet surely it's not difficult to pick up a phone. I'm still none the wiser. So now we will have to leave at first arranged time and spend hours in the airport.
Used this carpark for 10 days. Quick and easy drop off once the attendant realised we were there and stopped looking at his phone. Left keys with them, made a note of the mileage when I dropped the car off. It travelled less than 0.1 mile to its final parking spot. Collection very straight forward. Would recommend
After reading so many negative reviews here, I thought, how bad could it be? It just a car park. OMG. I left my 2019 car here in a perfect condition. Upon return, the car looked fine from outside and I left. When I tried to open windows just 2 minutes later, the car didn't responded. In fact, none of the driver-side controls were worked, at all. I pulled back and asked, their mechanic told me there is nothing he could do on-site and told me to open a complaint form. As you can imagine, they didn't accept any responsibility. BMW billed me £720 for the car park's fault. Do not park here. And just so you know, here is their response "Unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for articles left in cars, windscreens, tyres, wheel trims, stone chips, or scratches, as these are not always visible due to daylight and weather conditions, or mechanical/electrical faults. There is no indication of where any damage to your vehicle may have occurred under the Terms and Conditions of the Meet & Greet service. Consequently, we are unable to accept responsibility for the damage to your vehicle."
i arrived one day earlier…my car was not at meet and greet and have to wait one hour for them to go and recover it somewhere. the pb is that they take your car to put it in a storage area is it normal? when you recover your car it is dirty with more mileage and sometime damaged. i think the storage area to be very poor explaining all issues we have and finally prefering to use long term park and take 15 minutes bus and keep our keys!
Went on holiday on the 17th. Friendly and polite staff when I went there. Person at barrier made us chuckle and pointed us in the right direction. Not exactly valet parking though as it’s more of a car park where they drive your car around though to a separate one. Luckily no damage and most of the staff was nice. Also some of the reviews I think are due to other companies pretending to be the actual meet and greet service. I saw some around too and they play people about a lot from what I’ve heard.
Find a Alternative parking!!!!! I left my vehicle IN A PARKING SPACE when I got to the airport, and then had to go line up and sign in my keys at the reception desk with the ticket the person gave me when I unpacked my car. I thought there would be a better reception then this for the £144 I payed but at least I was near the terminal entrance. When I got back I got my keys from reception again and they told me to go get my car in the parking lot. So I took my key and went looking for my car, It was parked so close to the car next to it that I had to squeeze through the passengers side and climb through the car. I then drove it back to reception to pick up my wife and 4 year old daughter. I then noticed that the mileage was 11 miles more then when I left it, which was funny because the car was about 50 meters from where I left it. That time of the night and exhausted from the trip I just drove home. On the motorway I noticed a knocking noise that was never there before. On declaration the car makes a violent ratle. I emailed them and asked them for a explanation about where my car was and why it drove 11 miles to do 50 meters? They deny any responsibility and say that I left the car there under my own risk as stated under their terms and conditions. The whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth and I won't be flying via Stanstead again. P. S. I forgot my wife and daughters jackets at security, we had allot of luggage... Then they charged us £15 per item to get it back from lost and found. My wife asked why the charge? Usually a lost and found is free, after all, it's my own items... The lady at the desk said its not a free service, we have to make money aswell.
My experience with meet and greet was not what i would have expected especially when i paid over £100 for them to take care of my car during a 2 week holiday in Sept 2001. When the car was returned to us the driver stood in front of the passenger door and opened it for my wife to get in, when he eventually moved, there it was, a big scratch and gouge down the door. I always check these areas especially in supermarkets and never park next to other vehicles because of this reason. I own a lovely red Audi which was completely unmarked which cost £21000. Cutting the story short we had to move as we would have been charged more to get out of the loading area. After 2 wreeks of sending photo's and Emails to them, they came up with that it was pre existing damage, and we were responsible for it. They hem the cars into a holding area and i am sure that they pack them in as tight as possible with no regard for your vehicles protection. Drivers are cowboys just putting there day in with careless disregard for your property. I'll get a taxi next time ,that way i won't have to worry
