Extremely enjoyable two night stay. The rooms are lovely, central location and a popular bar/restaurant downstairs. Quality of everything was high in the room and breakfasts were excellent. We didn’t dine there but it seemed very popular. Very friendly staff. Breakfast staff especially good. Central Arundel. Will definitely be trying this and other Fuller hotels in the future. Pricing very competitive as well.
My partner and I had a stay and were blown away! It was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The room was cosy and spacious, it ticked all the boxes. We had dinner and the food was a perfect way to end our night. Highly recommend a Sunday roast. The staff delivered great hospitality and really made us welcome. We will definitely be coming back.
Overall great one night visit. Room was excellent with lovely bathroom. Food and drink great and even when kitchen was flooded the breakfast at the cafe over the road which the hotel paid for was brilliant . Staff a little hit and miss on arrival day, but very attentive staff on morning.Rooms: 5/5
The staff make this hotel, they are very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Breakfast was delicious served by a lovely lady who clearly enjoys her job and her cheerfulness rubs off. Ideal location close to Castle and high street shops, bars and restaurants.Rooms: 4/5
Really nice pub. Food is way above what you would expect. Would easily stand alone as a restaurant. Rooms can be a bit too creaky making you feel sorry for the person below. Amazing place to stay, we'll recommended.Rooms: 4/5
I would not rate the hotel star rating above a 3star. The room were presented nicely, but very small, you could not walk passed anyone else in the room it's that tight, the bath room door would not close fully, the floors very nosey, not worth the price. Breakfast was OK, but had to ask for toast which came after main food, and last of simple thinks like pastries, eating in the evening again OK, nothing special. Staff were OK, but didn't make you feel special, bar timing were strange, it closed between 10 and 11 depend on number of customers. We paid £166 for an off peak room call INDULGENCE, which it was not,
This is a review of the pub / restaurant. I live locally so pop in several times a year. So why only 2 stars? Inconsistency. You can go in sometimes and have a 5star experience, great service, lovely food, nice atmosphere. Other times something fails and it's awful. If you are reading this I hope your visit is on a good day!
We weren't staying in the hotel, so only used the restaurant for dinner, but what a great time we had! The menu has some interesting choices as well as classics. My husband had their signature dish of chalk stream Trout & he said it was wonderful. I'm not a vegetarian, but I opted for the walnut & courgette moussaka which was not only tasty but filling! We only had room for the buffalo milk ice cream, but that was excellent too. Shame we were only visiting the area, or it would be a regular favourite.
Great local hotel that delivers much higher standards than a B&B. Warm, welcoming staff who are happy to chat when times allows. Great food and plenty of choice at the restaurant and a good selection of beers and gins available at the bar.Rooms: 4/5
One word, AMAZING!!! Location is in the quiet town of Arundel with views of the countryside and castle. Yyonne was fantastic sweet, attentive and was probably the best service I've ever had anywhere! We loved her! We were actually sad to leave and say goodbye. Bartenders warren and Harry also brilliant! Thankyou all for making out stay so awesome!! We will definately come back for another stay at the swan!!! Love, Naomi, Ben and Angela
