Omg it was the best ever roast dinner I have ever had out and pudding and coffee and mints. Not forgetting the GIN! And gluten free, as was most things on the menu. The landlord and his staff made us so welcome . Thank you. His pub is beautiful. Will be back soon. Fully recommend booking first. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free excellent choice! Even sweet.

I haven't been back here for roughly 6 years or so. Although in a quiet area it was quite busy today. I don't get to come to The Black Horse that often to eat or drink. It's also very well decorated during Christmas which gives a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Always a superb experience at the Black Horse. A warm welcome, excellent menu, swift friendly service and great food. Peerless pub.

We visited for lunch to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary with two friends. We started with a sharing antipasto board which was very good. We then all had something different, lobster salad, steak and lamb and I had crab salad. All our meals were absolutely gorgeous, could not fault them. We followed with all having desserts again each mouthful was an absolute delight! Then we ordered the most amazing Irish coffees which were made by Grace to perfection! I can honestly say I can’t remember the last time I was so impressed with a restaurant meal! We eat out a lot and the food here was definitely some of the best we’ve had. Service is important to to the overall experience and again I cannot fault it. Thank you so much for making our anniversary so memorable. We will definitely be visiting again very soon! Thank you. Amazing venue for my son's wedding reception! The staff couldn't have been more helpful, the room was just beautiful, and all the meals were superb. Enjoyed every minute - and the mown grass just near the car park provided the most perfect area for photos, with a beautiful backdrop over the fields. Couldn't have been better!
First visit. Lunch time. VERY nice!! Food was excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good menu choices reasonably priced. Recommend <b>Food</b>: 5/5
Wonderful views on a balmy summer evening with old friends. Food was above average but not quite gastropub. Also my Chardonnay was disappointing. Just need a good wine merchant and improve chef and it would be a knockout.
