The guesthouse was perfect. The location was right by the harbour. The breakfast was so good and generous. Thank you for letting us stay! We were in the area filming a wedding and we were so lucky to have found this guesthouse.Rooms: 5/5
The hostess of this property is first class she is friendly and welcoming to all her guests and provides a comfortable home from home with plentiful information about the island. Full Scottish breakfast is fantastic and sets you up for the day. The house faces the sea and we were blessed to see one early morning an otter swimming in the bay. I would definitely recommend Sunnyside house to others looking for a relaxing break in comfortable surrounding, we will certainly be back.
We had a lovely time there: family friendly, lovely host, great breakfast and beautiful view! The host went above and beyond what we expected to make us feel comfortable and to help us find lovely things to do while there with our children. Super recommend!!!Rooms: 5/5
I got off the ferry without a hotel booking to discover that Rothsay was full. Fortunately the Discovery centre got me a room in the Sunnyside.My room was comfy and clean and Lorna's cooking was great the breakfast was huge a full Scottish as they say. The rooms at the front including the lounge have a good view of Rothsay Bay.It was only about £250 for a week. Rothsay is a lovely old Victorian holiday resort with wonderful scenery great weather when I was there. You can go cruising on the Waverley paddle steamer and with luck the Queen Mary will be back sailing again. I've been going doon the watter since the sixties and won't be stopping any time soon Doug
Lorna and Steve are wonderful hosts! The bed is comfortable, the service is incredible and we got to meet the dog she was minding, Benji, such a beautiful dog!!Rooms: 5/5
Friendly and helpful host. I arrived early but could drop off my luggage and get the key. Just the right amount of banter. Nice location and views.

Lovely guesthouse with beautiful veiws,had a pleasant stay,Lorna the landlady couldn't have been nicer to us,breakfast in the morning was lovely,nothing was too much trouble,room was very nice with a comfortable bed,would recommend to anyone,will definitely return in the not too distant future
