Brilliant venue. Here to see the mighty Machine Head deliver a blistering set. Big bar, well staffed, plenty of clean toilets, main hall is a great size, middle size hall suffers from too many pillars but still decent. I think there is a third hall but not been to a gig there. Easy to park nearby for free after 6pm!
Been to a few gigs here, great atmosphere. Went to see Fat Boy Slim recently. This was the first time I had seen an open-air gig, and it worked very well!
Fantastic venue. It's clean, security are thorough which suggests safety is taken seriously. The venue has a great edge to it and is brimming with atmosphere. Staff are friendly. The bar has a decent selection and is not too pricey. I'll definitely jump at the opportunity to see another band here.
Excellent venues to hold concerts etc.. Well laid out with plenty of facilities and staff make the events feel very safe
In an indoor part of the venue for Del Water Gap, there was another event on the same night but only one queue which meant security had to go through the whole line and ask who was headed where. The building itself was fine although the bathrooms were a bit more grungy maybe it was to match the style of the venue I couldn't really say. Was a great concert venue in general, drink prices were a bit high but I think that comes with the concert experience
This review is for the Glavinisers Yard. The way it was setup for this outdoor gig was great. Swedge was open for toilets, seats and bars. Outside was for music. The sound was great. The beer queues early on, before headliner, were baddd. 20 minutes. During gig, quick. But, overall, great venue. Great food. Great bar staff. What a venue. One of the best venues in Glasgow for regular outdoor in summer music. X
The place held the event very well and was clean and tidy. Staff we fantastic and nothing was out of place. Very good for our First visit
Great venue! Very clean everywhere even the bathrooms were clean. Lighting and sound was absolutely spot on The bar was stocked well! Expensive but just like everywhere you go 2024! Definitely return for more gigs.
Incredible venue and probably the best organisation at a gig that we have experienced. Queue was well managed and flowed quickly when doors opened on time. Two bars and two sets of toilets mean shorter queues, cloakroom available and quick changeovers between artists. We went to see polaris and it was incredible, security were the perfect balance between keeping people safe and letting people have fun. I'd maybe suggest having the merch stand upstairs with the second bar to give more space inside the actual venue but it didn't matter too much. Can't wait to come back!
Great sized venue, much bigger than I thought. Nice long bar and plenty of staff serving. Easy entrance, ticket and bag checks. Still room to move about if you wanted closer to the front of the crowd. I'm pretty sure I also saw staff giving out water to those right at the front, which was a nice touch. Fairly easy to find - just expect a long walk or cab if you are coming from town. Hope there are more shows that catch my eye soon.
