What a fabulous experience we had at the Father's Day carvery in the Stormont Hotel. The food was outstanding, the choices were exceptional and the staff were friendly, efficient and attentive .nThey even laid on extra treats to make the Dad's feel extra special. Five stars all round
We made use of the hotel's conference facilities to hold three small scale meetings in May and June. The Confex suite offered rooms of various sizes which met our needs perfectly. Plenty of chilled water on the table, stationery and staff checking regularly if we had everything we needed ensured the events ran like clockwork. The refreshments ordered, on two occasions a sandwich and wrap lunch, and on one occasion a proper two course restaurant meal, were served punctually and were of excellent quality. We would definitely recommend this venue for conferences.
We went to the Sunday Carvery yesterday at the Stormont Hotel & it was absolutely beautiful. The selection of food on offer was amazing - the only thing I could say would it would be nice for a couple more warm starter ideas - I didn’t have an issue with this as i love pasta salads but I know my partner loves his chicken wings etc. Every single thing we ate was absolutely beautiful. The main meats were cooked to perfection, I find carvery meats to be so dry and overcooked. We had the beef and lamb, it was lovely to see lamb on the menu as you can never get this anywhere anymore. The dessert selection was also amazing with plenty of choices. The live music was beautiful and the seating was well spaced out, I requested a table out of the way and they were more than accommodating. Service was great too - everyone was so polite and old plates were collected quickly. We live 35 mins away and this will definitely be our new regular as it’s absolutely worth the extra journey. For £39 a head it is worth the money in my opinion. 10/10 meal and can’t wait to return! :
Myself, my mum and 4 year old daughter celebrated Mother’s Day at the Stormont Hotel today with their afternoon tea, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. The selection of sweet and savory treats was perfect, and the scones were especially delightful.nnA special mention goes to Philip Pope, who went above and beyond with his service. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right for us. His warm and professional approach added to the overall experience, making the day even more special.nnThe atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, and we truly felt well taken care of. I would highly recommend the Stormont Hotel for afternoon tea and will definitely be returning in the future!
Brought my Dad for dinner and was served by a lovely member of your staff called Lucy. Was so lovely talking through questions on the menu. The food was great especially the dessert. Will definitely be back.
