My husband is registered with this practice. He had to phone this morning at 8:30, waited 7 minutes before getting through to appointments to be told that there are no appointments left. He was directed to the online self help page. His condition has now become a medical emergency.nI don’t understand WHY this surgery doesn’t do what the Lighthouse medical practice do and invest in an online medical consultation service.
On hold for i hour patience very distressed.nFamily member has then tried ringing again and after 15 mins wait got cut off !!!!nThis patient nearly lost their life a few weeks ago on ventilator and no back up plan from this GP think a report is going to be logged!!!
The worst medical practice ever, if you're calling few minutes later after 8:30 to make an appointment they will say they are fully booked no matter what medical emergency you have.nnThey did it again! I have severe abdominal pain,l and she just told me if I am able to call 111 'cause they don't have any appoiments left,before 9 am !!!nWell done!
Used to be great. Now literally impossible to get an appointment unless you want to see the paramedic practitioner give the man a raise because he's the only one that seems available for appointmentsnnThe whole attitude has changed, the standard operating procedure now is they tell you to ring 111 and then you wander down to A and E which is bursting at the seams to see a Dr there. They used to be so helpful at getting you an appointment on the day. Now they're moderately hostile if you dare ask to speak to your own Doctor.nnI now feel the only option is to look at private health insurance. Which kind of defeats the object of paying national insurance.
Can't thank everyone enough and that means all the staff. I have been suffering with an illness for a couple of weeks and with the help of everyone at the surgery I am now on the mend. After speedy referrals, blood tests, CT scan then a day in the Conquest Hospital things are looking up.nnWhat a team
