River Lodge Surgery

Absolutely disbelief how they operate, sending to pharmacy invalid prescription over and over again and blame the pharmacist or patient when asking for new one automatically you are without medication for long long time Im talking here about immune suppressant medication! . It’s monopoly in Lewes and we patients have no choice . You are there for up patients not otherwise! Regards!

Awful awful awful. If you get an appointment. They mess it up and say you don't have one. Once i understand, be it human error or computer says no. But despite it being them that booked it and it being confirmed by them... yet again, no record here. Several times this has happened. Unwilling to refer and several experiences of staff being rude. Find a different medical team. Staff training day coming up. Maybe they will put their mobiles down and answer the phone that's ringing off the wall.

I recently had an appointment with a nurse at River Lodge. She was the kindest and most efficient nurse I have ever had an appointment with. I left feeling amazing. Thank you so much

******BEWARE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE SIGNING UP TO THIS SURGERY ****** Surgery has gone down hill since they changed the appointment conditions. You struggle to see a doctor with a on going issue. One of the new receptionists isn't that helpful ether you ask her for a print out and then she disappeared apparently for lunch when I was half way through my request. They also mess up on your prescriptions you request 10 items say they only give you 2 and they may not even be the important one ether. I've been refused medication that can cause me to end up in hospital if I haven't taken them but this receptionist doesn't understand and states there's nothing that can be done. One of there doctors broke patient confidentiality and told one of my partners family private information what caused me alot of distress. They don't help you at all when you ask for help. Before to ling the surgery will be closed for the attitude towards patients. Shame some of the decent Drs have left the surgery Considering moving to a new surgery. Since this review we have moved away but we had a one last appointment with this surgery the patient was under 1 with high temputure of 39C the receptionist said we will get a doctor to call you urgently. 4 hours later still nothing. When we finally got the call we went in and was told he's perfectly fine. 2 hours later we was taken to hospital on blue light and sirens as he needed urgent care. Please BEWARE I feel we where neglected as a family of patients and the care we got I wouldn't want anyone else to suffer like we did. I would be aware this surgery has a bad reputation plus there's no toys for young children to play with its just magazines that you would get through the post or in a local paper. I was also told to shut up and sit the hell down by the the lady on the front desk called Terry I believe she still works there and would advice to avoid at all cost. The practice manager gets changed every month so you never no who is running this practice. I can't express enough to avoid this surgery.

Very rude receptionist who answered the phone this morning. All because I asked more then one question.

Had both vaccinations here, very quick and efficient

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere.

Been of great help twice now, got seen on the day.
