Looks a bit tired from outside. Good parking. Inside was warm, clean and comfortable. Staff welcoming, professional and very helpful. We met a friend there who was having overnight stay. We enjoyed a lovely meal well presented and tasted gorgeous. My friend was happy with her room and taxi was ordered for her to join her cruise ship at Tilbury.

Stayed here recently while working in the area. While the Reception, Bar, and Restaurant areas are set in the "main" Hall, the rooms are an annex outside. There is ample parking outside, while the decor in the hotel is modern with a traditional feel. After the queue of guest at reception had subsided, check-in was simple and fast. In my opinion the rooms were comparable to an up-market Travelodge. That said the room was clean, warm and the bed comfy. The wifi was a little slow, which was a slight problem trying to do work at night. The Buffet Breakfast was rather disappointing. The bacon and sausages from the hot section were lukewarm at best and the bowl of mixed berries were still partially frozen. :(

At conference.. Facilities are OK lunch was great coffee and tea available. Biscuits and bits sort of forgotten.. So no one really checked in to see so good but could be better

Lovely hotel with an excellent staff. The site is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the delicious morning breakfast and spent time in the small attached bar/ restaurant. Free wi-fi and grounds/ cute local area to explore. We used this hotel as a stop off both pre and post our cruise out of Tilbury. The main drawback to the hotel is that the entrance is hidden (difficult to find unless you know) and there are not many other local eateries within close walking distance.
