Amazing! One of the best experiences i ever had in hotels. Friendly receptionist, clean rooms, outstanding room facilities, security...i have no words to express how happy i am that i chose this hotel. I will definitely use this hotel in the future. I would rather travel 30 minutes there and have a lovely night and a good rest than paying £10 less for a lot less quality. 1st class Hotel, well done!!!
We always enjoy Premier Inn, the staff are always so helpful and friendly, unfortunately on this occasion they were less so, not rude, not in anyway, just disinterested. Having said that, when I asked one of the cleaning staff for some extra items for the room she couldn’t have been more helpful, so praise there. The reception staff were the ones to let the side down this time. The room was the usual functional and tidy setup however being the last room before a hallway dividing door we did hear that slam a few times, this however didn’t disturb our sleep. We booked the meal deal with the attached restaurant which was perfectly acceptable. The steak was cooked very nicely, in fact it was cooked better than a steakhouse we went to the day before. The service was quick and efficient. One of the bar staff seemed more interested in one of his locals than he was us, by carrying on his conversation with him whilst serving us, extremely rude in my book. All in all though the stay was ok.
Stayed here for one night, friendly helpful staff on reception and the hotel was very quiet which was great. Room was very clean and more than enough space for family of 4 which 2 younger children. Literally a 5 minute drive from lakeside shopping centre and no problem parking the car
The vending machine didn’t work. Then my room card which was activated about 30 minutes ago and let us in our room decided to stop working.The rooms are dated the shower is terrible and can’t be adjusted to a different position and sprays directly onto the hotel shower gel that’s located in the most ridiculous location so forget using the hotels shower gel. The room was hot and had a fan that was something I would of had back when I was in primary school. The Tv remote was so worn you couldn’t make out what some of the buttons were for.it was also broken so the remote battery would constantly fall out. This has to be the most noisy hotel I have stayed at. The floors outside the hallway would constantly creek when people walked by the doors between the hallways were loud as they slammed when closing. The cleaners in the morning were loud 7-8am they were shouting to each other and banging while cleaning the rooms or whatever they were doing. Broken sleep in the morning.
Paper thin walls, I heard 4 different tv's last night whilst trying to go to sleep. Housekeeping staff don't know how to make a bed. Rucking the doubt under the mattress is not making a bed. It just means s the guest will have to re-make it before using it. And the breakfast on offer in the morning is absolutely vile. I have never tasted such low quality food in my life. 1 bite of each item and I walked out. I am currently trying to switch h hotel chains we use at our company as there seems to be these exact problems in every Premier Inn
Hotel was great jusy dont park van in the car park. We got broken into. Not enough cameras in car park at later inspection. Unfortunately wont be staying againRooms: 5/5
Great friendly staff. The brewers fayre pub reasonably priced for some really good tasty food. Nearby activities: Stayed here for shows in London. 5 minutr walk to the station and you can be in Central London within 30 minutes.
We spent 5 nights at the East Thurrock Premier Inn. First the positives.... Great location for what we wanted to do. Clean tidy rooms. Staff friendly & helpful. The food in the restaurant was ok & the staff were friendly & helpful. Negatives.... Unbearably hot rooms, 28 - 30° for most of our stay! Impossible to get a good night's sleep...it would have been cooler to sleep in the car park! The room had a fan but that just moved the hot air around the room. Outside the restaurant needs a good clean....cigarette butts everywhere!!
Very nice room as expected in a hotel chain. But it's exactly what we needed .... simple overnight stay after a long drive for Tilbury cruise port. Plus only a short walk to the huge Lakeside shopping centre.Rooms: 5/5
Perfect. The receptionist was very polite friendly. Good looking too. Room was nice & cool. Clean . Very good service. I definitely liked the location & was not hard to fine.Rooms: 5/5
