Stayed here about a year ago sorry didn't leave a review then! We were greeted by a wonderful lady, she was very informative of the area and quick to help with anything we needed. We had a choice of rooms when we got there as no others staying which was a lovely offering. The room was huge, bathroom decent and decor was lovely. Bed was super comfortable. We had breakfast over the road at the sister building and it was delicious. Our stay overall was fab. Would return!
Driving around looking for the stations hotel ,only to realise its part of a mini chain and you check in at the garden restaurant, then shown to the room which is in a different building across the road . Because of this there's parking for the building i was in which is an extra fee or they give you permit parking if your lucky to find a space on the road ,by this time I had already paid for parking along the promenade a few mins walk. The check in was quick all info given The room itself was down a flight of stairs, it was a big room plenty of space, as was the shower room. Bed was super comfortable WiFi was excellent Shower hot and powerful. Breakfast not included but could add on if wanted not sure what the cost was though. The garden restaurant looked good but didn't really fancy pizzas and some reason the pub was having a makeover so not doing food which is bad timing as its summer season surely it would have been better to do in the winter months ? . Would stay again if in the area would definitely recommend Close to the beach and town
Stayed for one night, rooms absolutely lovely decor wise and I liked the fact my car was securely off the road in a car park. We had breakfast too, we didn't take advantage of the full use of facilities because we were only one night but breakfast was very good, maybe a refill on hot drinks would be a nice idea to help wash down your food.
Nice place to stay. Not really their fault I visited on hottest day of 2022, but the room had no aircon! Hotel provided fan made sleep possible, but it was very hot. Everything else was great, and location just one street back from promenade excellent. Would stay again!Rooms: 3/5
My Wife and i stayed here on our wedding night. The room was really nice with a personal touch/feel to it. We only stayed there one night as we were flying the next day but will always recommend this place to anyone. It would have been nice to stay there a couple of nights because it felt very relaxing here and and staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very nice and and the room was very clean and spacious. I've only put good down for facilities because I was only there over night I didn't check anything out. One of the reasons i choose this place was also the free parking. Lovely stay
Ended up paying out £132 last year for valentines day on an executive king room with shower. Nothing executive about it. A dull room with a horrible mattress. Smelt of wood and a window that looked out to an alleyway. Didn't bother with the breakfast as we couldn't even sleep and people walking around above us from the reception. Seriously your better off in a travel lodge. Even when we complained we heard nothing back. Never again. Really wish I kept the photos. Only remembered to do this review because of valentines coming up.
We loved our 2 night stay. Our room was immaculate, clean, stylish. The blonde lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming. Lots of choice on the breakfast menu plus fresh fruit and cereal. If we are ever in the area again, I'd definetly stay again.
Lovely rooms finished to a high standard great base to explore Southsea and Portsmouth sorry the photos are of the places we visited rather than adding more photos of the rooms. Staff were friendly and very accommodating as Farmers we tried the Farmers English breakfast, we were not disappointed. WiFi is free and great speeds see photo. Excellent 2 night stay would definitely book again
A boutique hotel with staff who really care; rooms of unique design which are clean comfortable and well fitted out. Shower room or bath available with boutique cosmetics and gels. Large car park and easy access to bus, taxi and the beach only a short distance away. Has its own gastro pub with extensive menu that will satiate even the most discerning palate. Quiet but with attentive staff who go to great lengths to ensure you have a good experience.
Overpriced and underwhelming, we were booked into an executive room for our wedding night. It cost £175, the room was small with boring decor. Breakfast took so long we had to leave without eating it, the manager was more concerned with whether we were cancelling our order than the fact we had been waiting so long. Rude and disappointing :
