Hotel great 10/10... If you are on O2 or Three, reception is poor... Constant drum of local motorway is cancelled out by the good double glazing... Keenly priced... good breakfast.

Definitely a wedding venue as opposed to staying as an ordinary guest. We drove for 7.5 hours, for a wedding the next day. The room was very basic considering what we paid. There were teas and coffees, iron and ironing board, shampoo and body wash. The Wi fi in the main, was only accessible some time. We came down to have dinner but we're asked to wait as a wedding party was still in full flow. After half an hour we left to find a restaurant as we couldn't book a meal. The walls are thin but luckily the guests were quiet when returning to their rooms. I expected very little with regards to the reception the next day based on what I had experienced so far but was absolutely stunned at the venue room Beautiful. The grounds were also exceedingly well maintained and presented. The staff were courteous and quick and with mine host managing the proceedings everything went smoothly. So just be aware that the focus appears to be on weddings rather than an ordinary guest and the bedrooms are nothing to write home about but are very clean.

Went on a Thursday for the steak night deal. I have to say, it was absolutely amazing 5 out of 5. I had been previously and that was great but 4 out of 5, the steak was a little dry. Since then, they have renovated the restaurant and the steaks somehow have reached perfection. Will definitely be going back again.

Enjoyed a fabulous Elton John Tribute night recently with colleagues. The Christmas meal was delicious and served very efficiently considering the large number of folk there. Nice surprise to see and hear Warrington Brass band playing carols too. Thanks to staff for looking after us so well and to "Elton". Fantastic night !
