I've had several appointments recently for blood tests, scans and an x ray. All the staff have been lovely, kind and helpful. I've only had to wait a few minutes each time, it's very efficient. I know the NHS gets a lot of criticism, but I only have praise for the care I've received. I couldn't have had a better experience if I'd been seen privately. I feel so lucky to have this great hospital a 5 minute drive away.
The staff in the breast unit are absolutely the most amazing collection of Dr's and Nurses. They are helpful, friendly and compassionate. There is also free parking here which is a rarity!

Wife and daughter had blood test here. My daughter who is normally very tough was reduced to tears after being stabed 3 times in different arms trying to get a vein. The hospital then lost the blood taken from my wife which means she is now missing her yearly appointment at Harefield Hospital as there are no appointments at St Margaret's within the time frame. Taking blood from patients should not be this difficult. More training required
I wouldn’t return here for a third attempt, even if I were paid. I’ve been trying to get a blood test for over a month due to severe pain and the need for a diagnosis, but every experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Every time, I waited over an hour past my scheduled time without being seen and had to leave because I couldn’t miss work. Despite having a booked time slot, they consistently fail to stick to it. The staff are dismissive when you ask for a time estimate, offering no help or reassurance. If you can’t honor appointment times, don’t bother giving them. The phlebotomy service here is completely unreliable and needs serious improvement.
