How did the NHS get in this state. Told by 111 to attend urgently, only to be turned away by the rude woman on receiption. It felt like I had put her out bringing my broken foot to the centre. How dare I !! 25 minutes to get there as well. Unable to get treatment I was sent on my way. The 1 star reviews are an accurate representation of the centre. I won't be returning.
Walked in with a lump on my head and was seen within the hour by Dr. Jonathan - top bloke he were.n2 wonderful ladies at reception didn’t get their names on Saturday 3rd August.nGlad that the service exists even though we moan and gripe about the NHS - we got it good we don’t even know it.
Shocking treatmentnAfter being sent there by 111 for an injured ankle, couldn’t manage to walk and had to get hep to get there, upon arrival I was told they were unable to see me even after 111 had referred me. I was clearly in pain, hopping on one leg, holding on to anything I could to help me move, and there was no one willing to assist or help in anyway. I had to ask if they would at least get a chair so I could sit. I was turned away as the reception said they were maxed out and I had an illness not an injury, even though I insisted it was absolutely not an illness, apparently that’s what came through from the 111 referral. The receptionist was extremely rude, unhelpful, Unprofessional and could not care less what state I was in, truly appalled by the way I was treated today and the fact that I was in excruciating pain and was dismissed to just get on on my own . NHS do better
I was told by 111 to attend here for an out of hours appointment for my baby at 6:45pm. I arrived on time, even 15 minutes earlier and was still waiting for over 15min after my appointment time, even though when I have first arrived the previous patient was just leaving and the gp had no one sat in there. I had to go back to reception to check if we were definitely in the right seating area or if the Dr just forgot we were there. After we were called into the room, I couldn’t hear a thing he was saying as he kept talking really quietly and not clearly I don’t have problems with my hearing but he was definitely mumbling. He then proceeded to do observations, there was a sphygmomanometer blood pressure device which was completely covered in dust and not to mention that the oximeter used wasn’t even working properly, but somehow I’m assuming he still would have recorded these inaccurate observations as there is no way my 10 month old baby’s pulse was in the 70’s. It’s quite unprofessional, not to mention neglectful to use devices that don’t even provide an accurate reading. I am a registered nurse by background and seeing other healthcare professionals just doing the bare minimum, looking like they don’t want to be there and not providing proper care really grinds my gears, especially when it comes to assessing babies, who unfortunately can’t tell you if they don’t feel well. Just lack of professionalism overall and poor care.
Useless doctor! Rushed us in and rushed us out barely checked my daughter and made out I was going mad and seeing things. Then the very next day I take her to another surgery where they take one look after a 5 hour sit and wait and tell me she has a water infection, tonsillitis and coldsores all over the inside of her mouth. Clearly the St George’s doctor was just fed up and ready for home and couldn’t be bothered to do a proper check of my child! Thanks for nothing
