DISGRACEFUL RECEPTION STAFF!! Phoned to book an appointment and the woman on the phone was so rude … uninterested.. frustrated… annoyed LIKE ALWAYS! Maybe not getting paid enough or NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO GET PAID BETTER! Whatever the reason is WE AS THE REGISTERED PATIENTS DO NOT DESERVE TO BE TREATED THE WAY YOU TREAT US ON THE PHONE OR EVEN WHEN WE TURN UP AT THE RECEPTION !!! SPECIALLY YOU BEING A RECEPTIONIST NEED TO BE POLITE … WELCOMING.. AND RESPECTFUL TO THE PEOPLE NEED TO SEE A GP!!!!! QUIT THE JOB!!! IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY!! IT CANNOT GET ANY EASIER THAN THAT!! Or LEARN HOW TO BE POLITE TO THE PEOPLE ON THE PHONE AND IN PERSON WHEN THEY TURN UP AT THE SURGERY!!! NO ONE DERIVES TO DEAL WITH YOUR FRUSTRATION !!! LEAVE IT AT HOME WHEN YOU COME TO WORK!! Twice now I the past 2 months my prescription was a week late. I have COPD, Cardiovascular Desease, Periferal Vascular Desease plus Mental Health Issues. 7 Days without meds is a joke. No wonder the NHS is going to the wall FFS Make's me want to talk to a solicitor, incompetent or what? Wonder what would happen if someone Dies becase of this?
Worse medical practice. They never have an appointment they never have nothing. They just drink te and coffee and then they call themselves busy. I will not recommend it to nobody they are the WORSE
So glad I joined here. Best doctors I've even been too. Reception staff and doctors are understanding, kind and empathic. Fantastic service every single time! Thanks what a great team and surgery
Very poorly managed surgery, rude and patronising reception staff. Have been registered at this surgery for over 25 yrs and definitely now considering moving elsewhere. I have to chase up my bloods appointments every six months, then chase up results and then arrange appointments with doctors to discuss results. You have to manage your own health if registered at this surgery, they will not or don't even have a diary system for patients. Would be interested to know how many elderly patients have lost their lives because of this surgery due to lack of patient management and appointment system. Their reception staff are too slow with technology, no wonder it takes ages to get through to them. They can definitely start by recruiting fresh new reception staff and change all their processes.
Quick and friendly service, Dr Dumphy was lovely and patient as I told her my problems.Will definitely be sticking around this practice.
I've been registered with this surgery for 16 years. All the doctors are great, but Dr. Nicola Dumphy is amazing, knowledgeable medical expert and makes you feel at ease. Nurses and all the staff are great, too. Online booking appointment system is a life saver. Thank you.
Wanted to register with them. Called them to see how things are. The automated voice service on the phone said they receive phone calls for appointments only until 8 a.m. every day. HELLO? Is anyone aware that THIS IS A MEDICAL PRACTICE? There are plenty of people with a huge variety of illnesses who find it very hard and in significant cases even impossible to wake up at 8 a.m. and wait in the queue for an appointment. And how about people who are healthy but are on night duty and still need to see a doctor for medical checks etc. from time to time? Just based on this phone call, my personal assessment is that this is RUBBISH service. And no, I am not going to dig any further to see whether maybe I "misunderstood" something. Of course, I am not going to register with them.
Been registered here for years and no one has even bothered giving me the help and support that I need, no one has bothered trying to phone me. I keep sending them emails, but no one has been interested in reading them or getting back to me! I have personal reasons why I cannot phone them and I don't wish to speak about that, I've tried to be nice and I've tried to be harsh, and everything ended up being so confusing and frustrating. I hate confrontation, but I cannot speak them over the phone, again it's a personal issue and I don't wish to speak about that! I really wish I wasn't registered here, and I wish they would permanently delete everything from their system and remove me from their services for good.
Rude receptionists. They don't speak in a polite manner. I put in a request for my prescriptions and they say it will be ready next working day but they mess about and give my prescriptions 2 days after. On another occasion I tried making an urgent appointment for myself but they wouldn't give one and they lie and say they are fully booked. I went into the practice and they were only 3 patients waiting, so how are they fully booked. The doctors aren't helpful. They don't prescribe any medication and they tell me to go buy the medication when they know full well I am entitled to free prescriptions. Not only this, everytime I try to make a complaint I can never get through to them. They don't care about anyone. They try to make themselves look innocent. I'm hoping to move to another gp practice soon. Would not recommend this one.
