While the workout space is fine, the customer service is abysmal. My husband went into the hospital with a chronic issue. I attempted to cancel his membership and they refused. He subsequently died. I brought in the death certificate and cancelled the membership. They charged me for this, then they did not actually cancel it. I had to manually remove the autopay from my account. I called and complained. Then they sent it to collections. I had to call and complain again. Last thing I needed to deal with. I cancelled my own membership.

It's a hands on and friendly town gym where the trainers are all so knowledgeable. A place where you can up your fitness without feeling intimidated by the muscle brigade or fancy dressers that you get elsewhere.

Used to be better, busy, hot and under maintained. Obviously they are about to sell this one on like the rest. The air Conditioning hasn't worked for a few years now, simple things like water coolers or toilets not working take weeks to fix. Staff try there best but obviously there is no investment going on any more. Customer services no longer bother responding to complaints or are even grateful for pointing out items that don't work or are dangerous. Shame as this used to be a good place to workout. Just wish they would get on and convert to a 24/7 gym so at least we'd be able to get in earlier on a saturday!

Bikes were replaced many months ago in front of the TVs - The audio was never reconnected to the Bikes ... Not great for a Platinum Club!

Pretty miserable staff. Lots of folded arms, puffed chests types as staff. There are better, more welcoming gyms in St Albans.
