Terrible customer service. I took one of my sons in there. After begging for someone to help me I was told that if I didn’t know my sons shoe size i should go down to Clark’s to get him measured and then come back. I asked why, the young lady stated that it saved them having to go up and down getting different sizes. I left and drove to bromley just to get some decent service, not from sports direct. Never again after that. They will hopefully go bust soon
Worst customer service ever staff and manager. Can't be bothered to serve as if I annoyed him when asked for a service. Staff not helpful and rude, items price at the till is different from the display and what staff advice. Very very bad experience.
Just awful customer service. The manager seems to be a bit of a sloth moving in slow motion.
Awful experience at Surrey Quays shopping center store - the staff is extremely unprofessional and rude, specially the manager who didn’t even want to come out of the private room in the store to try to help me with my enquire. I bought an item “X” day it was a gift unfortunately It didn’t fit the person. The staff at the store told I had 28 days for a refund. The next day when I went to the store and try to return the item they didn’t refund me at all, they push me to keep the item or have a coupon with the money which I don’t need because I won’t use it. Never buy anything at this shop if you aren’t sure that you will keep it!!
We went in to purchase 2 footballs. As we were about to leave, we saw she charged us and extra £2 for one of the premier league balls. So we went to ask the lady-cashier why that was. Out of nowhere, the lady-cashier went crazy for no absolute reason telling me is your dad ok and overall insulting us. The mistake was the price tag was put on the wrong item. We asked for the manager but she said, I’m the manager even though she definitely wasn’t. Eventually the manger came and refunded us the money. She was so rude, she still didn’t say sorry for her mistake and rudeness. From now on, we will never visit our local sports direct ever again.
Perfectly good store. Saw the overwhelmingly negative reviews but personally I had a decent experience. Popped in as I forgot my gym kit and it had what I was looking for which Decathlon didn’t up the road. The store is bigger than I expected from the reviews and better stocked too. Worth a visit. Don’t expect it to be anything more than Sports Direct and you will be just fine.
I went to buy a trainer 2 weeks ago and it was the worst shoping experience I’ve ever had. As a customer was leaving with a bag Saturday manager called James stoped the guy and accused him of stealing by saying he had 5 bags on shelves that morning and now one is missing. They guy explained that he bought the bag from the store on offer for £27 and said you can see I have a Tesco shoping inside and how did I bring in my Tesco shoping but the manager suggested he could have brought with a plastic bag. The bag was an old bag with dirt and scratches and you can clearly see it’s an old bag. But the manager ignored all the logic and fact checking by watching cctv and even pushed the guy around and took the bag from the guy and humiliated him before even checking CCTV. When cctv was checked and he realised he was wrong, instead of apologising to the customer he said take your f - -king bag and get out out of my shop. It was the most uncomfortable shoping experience. When customers were upset and asked him why he accused the man without checking facts and that he needs to apologise to the man he told the customers to leave his shop. Very unprofessional staff, I wouldn’t go to this brach for my shoping again.
Very bad customer service.
IF I COULD GIVE IT A MINUS REVIEW I WOULD. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER AND THEN CALLS HIMSELF THE MANAGER. CANT BE BOTHERED TO SERVE, ALMOST FELT LIKE WE ANNOYED OR HASSLED HIM AS WE ASKED FOR SERVICE. THEN HAS TO AUDACITY TO TELL MY KIDS NOT TO TOUCH DISPLAYS AND ASKS A 3 YEAR TO PUT BACK ITEMS ON THE SHELF. IF YOU CANT BE BOTHERED TO DO THE TASK YOU PAID FOR AOR PROVIDE THE SERVICE THEN WHY BOTHER TURNING UP FOR QORK. NEVER COME BACK HERE
Not many people serving. But then not many people in the shop. All in all service not bad, considering we have just come out of lock down
