I waited three years to see someone on ENT and then over almost a twelve month period seen by three different consultants two said I required an op and the third said I didn't need an op but they can't make their mind up. Instead I was given an appointment to see a Physio for excercise and a packet of Gastro tablets for anyone who doesn't know what they are, they're to reduce the acid in the stomach perhaps they think my Sinuses are in my stomach and I breath through my belly button.

Reluctantly been to A&E today have to say the staff couldn't have been more caring. Waited about hour and half but when I commenced treatment very efficient examination x rays and diagnosis within an hour. They work.under extreme pressure and deserve our support thank you southport a&e

I arrived with my husband 9:30pm by ambulance and waited for 6 hours (that's right) in the corridor for him to finally be seen. The Doctor came across professional but the overall experience was most distressing. The one star is for the kind nurse who made me a cup of tea.

Staff left me sat in pain for 4 hours. Refused me water and pain relief in case I needed an operation. Didn't need one but still got no water or pain relief! Hospital was dead. Was like a ghost town. One nurse had a bad attitude and wasn't professional at all. My friend was sleeping in the room with me, we were both knackered. The nurse woke her because she wasn't supposed to be sleeping...? Apparently! Compared to the Manchester Royal Infirmary this place is quiet. They don't know what busy is but keep you waiting hours anyway.

Sad to see only a couple nurses on the ward willing to help my girlfriend (A former nurse herself), no help when they're not there, asked 3 times for a shower throughout the day yesterday and only got one when I walked her up to the wards desk at 8pm, then was told to leave as it was past visiting hours, was told to wait in the ward hallway for 3 hours this morning while other patients relatives walked onto the ward, you'd think they where being paid to talk amongst themselves, ignore patients and not smile, whenever I'm on the ward im finding elderly patients asking ME for help, on the first day I witnessed a very old lady get ignored by two nurses that she was telling she was scared. something needs to be done here, speaking as a former patient of alder hay, Fazakerley and the Walton centre this hospitals a disgrace to the tax payers.
