All proceeds are donated to the Sussex Lantern, supporting the health & development of disabled people.

We arrived and were really impressed with the large pitches for hook ups and such an open space with pitches only being around the edges leaving a massive open space in the centre for children to play. 

The sunsets were lovely and sitting outside with a firepit available to rent from reception made for lovely relaxing evenings. 

We walked to hassocks train station which was only a 20 minutes walk and caught a train to Brighton which was only £4.80 return for adults. 

Sadly that is all that is good about this site.  The site is massive and there is only 3 stations to do dishes and every time we went we queued and the water was cold. 

Then there's the showers, again not enough for such a large site.  There are 6 in the women's and gents and one in the gents is out of order.  Every time we went for a shower it's been cold! And I don't just mean tepid I mean freezing cold.. kids are screaming in the cubicles where parents are trying to clean them.  We've been in the morning and the evenings and still cold.  They closed them for a few hours this morning to let them heat up but Still cold when opened back up. 

This is a real shame as I won't return due to this as we are big walkers so need to be able to get showered after returning from a 10 mile walk!!

Very pretty backdrop of Ditchling. Nice big pitch. Clean toilets and showers.
Fantastic stars at night, fire pits available and wood. Great for kids to mingle and play in the centre together.
Tony and the Warden were extremely helpful and accommodating.

Brillant campsite will defiently be visiting again. Central to loads of things to do. staff are very friendly and helpful and the facilities were always clean. cannot fault this place and would highly recommend it.

Lovely campsite. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of space for kids to play. Facilities are good.

Booked on, got a phone call saying it's been cancelled (group's too big) and they won't refund the deposit. Feels like dealing with a dodgy builder. Stay clear.
