Booked as a last min camping trip, travelling as an individual. Email communication excellent, on arrival met the owner and purchased logs, kindly offered me a better chimnea than the small firepit I'd bought along! Much appreciated. The toilets were always clean and enjoyed using the novel outdoor showers, felt a little exposed but just got on with it! There are also 2 full length mirrors which make you look extremely slim! If it's windy the shower curtain keeps attacking you but that's part of the fun of living outdoors for a night or 2! The ground was pretty flat and enough space, I like being able to park next to your pitch. Went to the Green Welly cafe for breakfast which was less than 5min walk to ditchling village. Unfortunately I only stayed 1 night due to my ankle issues, but would certainly visit again.
Had a great stay on the site enjoying the beautiful views. Host is very friendly and provided logs fire pit and hay bales to go with our Bell Tent. And just next to beautiful Ditchling village...... Defo coming again
Amazing chilled campsite. May not have all the mod cons of a big campsite, but this is the one for a very chilled camping vibe. No stress from owner or campers. Showers were nice and toilets were clean and filled with paper. Owner very relaxed and hospitable. Welcomes events. Watch out for Brighton Bank Holiday Mods weekend.
