The parking and road here is the worst I have seen. The road surface and lack of car parks here is truly shocking. If they want this to become more popular, which it could because it has a lovely restaurant and grounds but the parking is the worst I have seen. Yellow metal posts, presumably to stop gypsies which are SO narrow. I had about 8 inches either side of a Mini Cooper so god knows how anyone would get in without scraping a modern large 4x4. The surface of the car park near the old village is truly embarrassing it is bricks and concrete, completely uneven and very likely to damage cars. They need to pump a bit of money into this place and it could be great. If they improve it I will respond with a new review.

Great place for children to run freely, or for quite walks listings to birds sounds while wondering about the natural beauty

The restaurant is a destination itself and the mansion is majestic. I found the senior staff more flexible and accommodating than the waiters as the place was full and sitting 5 people can be a challenge. Stamner park sits in a great location surrounded by nature that we always enjoy visiting, it would be great if there was a foot and cycling map of the area, so that we know where to go and how long it will take. Stamner parking lots had poles allowing a narrow entry and I really wonder why do they make it as difficult? There is also no visible designated disabled area for cars to park and as a result we had to wheel through the fields to reach the restaurant with our friends. Have they ever thought of cleaning the small pond nearby, it really is muddy and looks filthy. Do visit all year round, nature is always at hands reach

Great place to wander through woods on foot, on bicycles, or dog walking. Great for practicing tree identification as an old tree collection. Brill for jogging. There is a village shop and cafe, and the Stanmer manor house is under new management - which now charges £36 for a burger (Jan 2018) ... gulp!

Nice park but parking an issue. Wide open spaces, lots of places for kids to run around, trees to explore and make 'tents' out of branches. However they have now introduced parking restrictions and it is unclear as to where you can and cannot park so it is easy to get ticketed, there are also nowhere near enough spaces to park in especially on a sunny weekend.
