The man behind the counter in the post office was rude and disinterested, he also lied and told me it would be collected that day. The parcel I paid almost £50 to be sent urgently to USA via Parcelforce wasn’t collected for 4 days and hasn’t moved on in the next 6 days. Parcelforce have advised me that the post office staff should’ve told me that all timescales were currently suspended. They were only interested in taking my money at this awful post office.
Always helpful when I've used them, sometimes a bit of a queue but find me a post office that doesn't.
Struggled down to the post office today with two parcels.The website says open till 8 on a Saturday. I did the same a month ago but rang up first to make sure the post office was open on a Saturday and was told 8. Today it was closed. I can't drive as I've lost the use of my right hand. Not impressed. 3 mile round trip.
Travelled there specifically on a Sunday to use the post office as it advertises as being open. Don’t be fooled. It’s only certain on line services. Complete waste of time. I have no issue with only offering specific services out of traditional hours but the website should make that clear.
Opening times fail to state that it does not apply to the post office. Poor service.
It's after 9am, they should already open but instead I can hear the staff members at the back talking and tea cups clinking.....
Man in post office almost every time doing mistakes with post codes on parcels. Today I paid twice for same parcel ones as 2nd class and again as 1st class because he is not hearing what I’m telling to him. He didn’t refund to me any money for his mistake. Even no excuses !!
They advertise the post office is open until 8pm most days but beware that they are only open until 5pm. They can't even get that right, or maybe they don't even care that it waste the publics time.
WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!!! If your looking for anything more than buying a book of stamps FORGET IT! The most inapt, uneducated, untrained post office workers I have EVER come across. I have been in the motor trade for 15 years so know a thing or 2 about taxing a car. These guys make up their own rules and have refused to tax a car on 3 separate occasions. On each occasion the next closest post office have always provided the road tax, as the paperwork and documents I provided were correct!
I could not ask for more helpful or friendly people. I post at least 30+ parcels each week and they are always willing to go that extra mile to help me. Thank you South Woodham Post Office. You are doing a great job.
