I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, which made for a very pleasant experience overall. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming.nnThe on-site gym was a great bonus — it was well-equipped and had everything I needed for a good workout during my stay.nnThere were a few small things missing from the room that would have made the stay even better — a fridge, a hairdryer, and a toilet brush would have been useful.nnThe breakfast was a basic English breakfast. I gave it a 7/10 as the options were quite limited, but it was still nice to have something to start the day.nnDespite those minor points, I would definitely stay here again. Great value and a comfortable place to relax.
We've stayed here on numerous occasions and always find the staff to be most helpful and professional. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently situated for Newcastle attractions and the Metro centre.nnWe have always had a warm reception from staff and never had cause to raise any concerns or complaints. We look forward to staying again next summer.
We had a great stay here. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome from the start. The pool was fantastic, and the location couldn’t have been better—just a short 5–10 minute walk to the Metro Centre. Highly recommended!
Really nice hotel. good sized rooms and great facilities.nnShort taxi ride from train station. Be warned getting a taxi from outside the train station ie black cab will charge in excess of £20. book an alternative.nnGreat selection of beers in the bar, up-to-date televisions with mirror casting that works, good WiFi throughout.nngreat for businesses, events and family's.nnfood was great, we ate in the restaurant breakfast, lunch and evenings, 2 nights. good selection of steaks and veggies. watch out for the chunky chips, they were undercooked slightly.nnoverall highly recommended.
Perfect for shopping at the metro centre. The leisure centre is fantastic.nnI've had to drop this down to 3 stars.nnThe bar and reception area was plagued with very small flies.nnBreakfast was very mediocre, not a patch on other Marriott breakfasts.
