This shop has been a personal favorite and that's definitely a tough choice since there are a lot of really nice shops in London. But Sounds of the universe has really good curation. Not the biggest shop but definitely one you can trust in terms of finding an interesting record
They had quite a good range..... It's a lovely little shop but it wasn't really for me. If you like world music and Jazz it's perfect for you. Although the staff did not come across as approachable.
My favorite shop I visited in London. On the small side but curated well and high quality used vinyl. Listening here can be difficult while there is a station all vinyl are behind the counter so must be requested. Bring headphones and your phone. Found some nice dub, reggae and spoken word in my visit. The owner was super kind as well.
Impressive curated vinyl collection here huge range of genres and artists here well organised with really reasonable prices Enjoyed browsing through the boxes to find some hidden gems and vinyls I hadn't previously considered looking for! Would recommend to anyone with an interest in vinyl to check it out
Superb record shop with loads of stock and really helpful staff. We brought my daughter’s first Queen album from here and it won’t be her last!
Need to update the website, i ordered 4 records and paid in full, 4 days later i have been informed that they only have 1 copy of a record when i ordered 2 copies that were showing on the website and they "oversold " another record that was showing as available also on the website. Will not order again and will stick to Honest Jons.
Great record store with excellent selection and good vibes. Nice and bright - they have some books and other stuff too
A nice record store that also sells books and some clothes. It is the home of Soul Jazz Records, and you will find many great re-issues there. An important stop if you like music and happen to be in central London!
Nice shop, but only worth visiting if you're into reggae or jazz music
One of my favourite shops to go to when I need to buy music. It has a good selection of Reggae, which is my musical preference. They stock both vinyl and cd's. A majority of the vinyl are repressed. So it is a good place to go if you are looking for old classics and rare tunes at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable.
