This by far, is one of my all-time favourite bookstores. Spanning multiple levels, it’s very easy to navigate from one category to the next. Really wish we had a store like this back home! It’s truly a bonus that the range of tabletop games available are extensive. If not for my limited luggage space, I would definitely have added more items to my basket. Definitely added to my must visit list every single time I’m in London!!
A huge bookshop. I definitely loved it! As a bookworm you can get lost inside pretty easily. Lots of variety of books as well as board games etc. Plus, there were signed books of well-known authors. I loved that there were 4 floors including a music section. Lots of vinyls and CD’s.
I love the idea of having a cafe in a bookstore, and this one has plenty of seats! The cakes also look nice and the price seemed reasonable. However, I didn't enter because it was too hot I guess around 29 degrees at minimum, probably 30...
Stunning bookshop with everything you could ever learn. Attended the ESEA PN Lit Fest. Toilets and a cafe with a range of options. Lifts although a little inaccessible when very busy. Great gift options too!
It is one of the most delightful places to visit for book enthusiasts. It offers a diverse collection of books encompassing various genres. I was particularly impressed by the meticulous organization of the books into distinct sections, which greatly facilitates the search process and saves valuable time.
Amazing selection of books and hardcovers, large horror and fantasy selection. So many good books!! Plus cafe on the last floor has really good lunch options for London
Foyle's is truly a happy place in London. They have freshly made scones every morning at their cafè, and many exclusive edition and signed books available to purchase. I go as often as I can, even just to take in the energy of the books!
Amazing place for a book lover!! This ihas a wide range of books from fiction to non fiction, history, romance, thrillers, horror, self help, recitals, classics, etc. They have a good collection of bookish accessories too. On some sections they have buy one get other for half price too! Value for money!
This place made me smile and cry at the same time. I love books and they have 5 stories of them - I couldn’t stop smiling. Seeing this many books in this time and age, that made me cry because store such this is amongst the list of endangered species . On the 2 top levels are the event space and the cafe. It was one of the busiest cafe I have been in London despite that it was just an empty warehouse with chairs and tables. It is a working, meet up, and reading space all in one. There’s a good vibe but no ambiance whatsoever. Truly an amazing sight on weekday. Foyles sells both printed media and digital media in the forms of CD, DVD, and vinyl … maybe some other medias beyond my days. This place is highly recommended to visit even if you come only to browse books from bygone era and decades. Paper felt good again here. There were books with fancy fonts too.
I had the Tuna and English cheddar sandwich with mayonnaise on champagne bread. This was delicious. The cheese wasn’t overpowering, the fish was fresh and the herbs completed the dish. Portion size was large. Well worth the price. The atmosphere of this cafe is brilliant. A great place to study. A little bustle of noise that is comfortable, nothing too loud that headphones couldn’t dampen. Staff were lovely and accommodating, I witnessed a customer spill a full glass of wine and the staff got them a new one on the house. All the food looked appealing. My boyfriend had the chorizo frittata with a potato salad which he gave an 8/10.
