My stay at Sofitel London Gatwick was simply outstanding. This hotel perfectly blends luxury with practicality, offering everything a traveller could wish for when flying in or out of Gatwick Airport. The location is unbeatable — directly connected to the North Terminal via a covered walkway, making transfers effortless even with luggage.nnFrom the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in was smooth and quick, setting the tone for a relaxing experience.nnThe room was beautifully designed, quiet, and extremely comfortable, featuring a large bed with premium linens, modern lighting, and thoughtful amenities such as a Nespresso machine and high-quality toiletries. The soundproofing was excellent — I couldn’t hear a single plane despite being right next to one of the busiest airports in the UK.nnDinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious, with a refined menu and attentive service. Breakfast was equally impressive, offering a wide variety of hot and cold options, all fresh and well-presented.nnEvery detail, from the spotless cleanliness to the elegant interior design, reflects Sofitel’s high standards. Whether you’re travelling for business or pleasure, this hotel turns an airport stay into a true luxury experience. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.

My wife and I enjoyed a relaxing and enjoyable stay the night before departure. The hotel exuded quality from start to finish, at an affordable price. We were allocated a quiet room which proved perfect. All staff were professional and the service exemplary. We would most definitely stay again as the location was perfect.

This hotel is lovely and conveniently located with easy access to the airport terminal. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a beautiful fragrance that instantly sets a relaxing tone. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, and check-in was quick and efficient.nnThere are several dining options available, we chose the Asian restaurant, which was absolutely delicious. Later, we enjoyed a drink at the bar, and my Bloody Mary was perfectly made.nnOur room was beautiful and the bed extremely comfortable. The hotel also provides thoughtful touches such as complimentary bottled water and toiletries.nnI’d highly recommend this hotel, especially if you have an early flight,  it’s the perfect place for a comfortable and stress-free stay before travelling.

The hotel was very convenient, the room was spacious and clean, and the service was excellent at the lobby bar. The reason I rated the overall experience as a 7 is because we arrived from the USA early in the morning and they charged us a hefty sum to enter our room around 9:30 am instead of 2:00 pm.  There were plenty of unoccupied rooms and we thought the extra fee was steep.

Excellent hotel for post late flight home, excellent late welcome with lovely welcome extras in the room. Amazing view of the runway from the 8th floor! Amazing breakfast with a really good choice of food.nThis is the first time I have used the hotel chain for a personal holiday rather than business so it felt like an amazing treat to be in such a lovely hotel.
