We had a pleasant stay at this hotel and found it to be very good value for money! It’s not a luxury hotel, but for what we needed — somewhere comfortable and convenient to stay near Gatwick Airport — it was absolutely ideal.nnThe location was particularly useful for our trip, making getting to and from the airport easy and stress-free. The hotel provided everything we needed for an overnight stay, and overall we felt we got exactly what we paid for.nnIf you’re looking for somewhere practical, reasonably priced, and close to Gatwick rather than a luxury experience, I’d definitely recommend it. A great option for an airport stay.
Positives:n- The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, offered to take my bags in without asking and were very eager to help. Honestly the best part of staying here.n- The beds are comfortable.n- The room is cleann- You get a lot of space for cheap.n- Great free WiFi.nnNegatives:n- The room I was in was in a state of disrepair, with paint chipping off the wall, faulty kettle.n- Walls are very thin; I don't know who was there my first night but I could hear every word.nnMy impression is that this hotel is in a state of transition and management is trying to do up the place.nHonestly however I felt very safe and taken care of from the staff.nnGreat value for money, but I'd avoid if I was a nervous traveller.
booked 2 nights arrived. Had door knocked by other guests, the place is a half way home. Taxi driver advised that they dont normally pick up there due to users. lasted 2 hrs and left. moved to travel lodge as didnt feel safe leaving bags alone while going to work. unreal place.
I’ve stayed here twice it’s super cheap and the beds are very comfy we got a super large room the first time and we’re very impressed. Now the check in was confusing the first time and we had to do it via WhatsApp but the second stay was like a normal hotel quick and easy super friendly man. I would recommend, super close to Gatwick and tulleys shocktober fest. We will be staying here again for the shocktober fest and our next holiday at Gatwick
We stayed here for two nights When we arrived at around 3-30pm We could not work how to get in but the gentleman on reception opened the door for us. I then said is it ok to park where we were parked just to the left of the front entrance. He said in broken English £5 to park. I refused to pay and said no our booking said free parking. So he then said ok Free. I was then asked for photo ID I don't have any but did not see anything about id when booking. My Husband did have id so gentleman took photo of this. He then said please wait then ran up the stairs we sat for about 15 min he then came part way down the stairs with a hoover so presume room was not ready We think No 104 up two small flights of stairs then turn right. We got to our room and went to put our clothes away in the wardrobe and noticed inside wall was wet. So put my hand on it and you will see by the attached photo it had only just been painted and was soaking wet. If I had put our clothes in there and not noticed the hotel would have had one large cleaning bill The whole room was in desperate need of decorating and updating. Soap dispenser in shower broken and nearly empty dish to put soap on in shower missing only fixing left on the wall. And shower fine if you where 6ft tall but as I am only 4ft 10” I could not reach to turn shower on so Husband had to do it for me. Part of shower filthy around doors and next to toilet also stained on the wooden shelf. And found beds very uncomfortable. The only good thing I can say about the place is the lovely gentleman that was on the reception Sunday night when we returned and on the Monday morning when we went out. So helpful and friendly. A-credit to your hotel. Would we stay again would have to seriously think about it.
