It’s a very beautiful hotel with brilliant spa facilities. The treatments I received were some of the best I have ever had. You have the ability to use the spa facilities until late at night with many small beautiful rooms tucked away for you to enjoy the views of the surrounding area. The spa is a modern architectural dream which is a lovely contrast to the manor. The hotel itself is separate from the spa. We had a beautiful suite. People on here seem to be upset that it’s ‘dated’ - I would suggest it’s what to expect when booking a room in a Manor House in the heart of Sussex. Lovely drawing room and small, cosy bar. The food was great and they remembered my dietary requirements with every meal we had. My only suggestions to the management would be the below: Where you stand to wait to be seated for the restaurant is very far away from the dining room itself, which leads to being stood around for ages and feeling frustrated. You’re already in a bad mindset before being seated. The service wasn’t slow, but inconsistent, glasses weren’t refilled and tables surrounding us weren’t cleared for ages. It was a little disappointing but the food was still excellent.

A comfortable stay,. But felt strange. Let me just say the food was very good. And the service friendly. But dinner lasted over 2 hours, long gaps between courses. It felt like "Every Man for Himself" style service. Guest that came in after me got served before me. The room was clean and tidy. Felt a little dated. The bed was comfortable though I'm not a fan of feather pillows. My room only had a shower and no Bath but the shower was good.

Pretty awful experience from start to finish. Staff are polite but absolutely clueless! Paid several hundred pounds to essentially have a bath and a poor night's sleep. They messed up my treatment and so moved it to the next day. We were put on a rickety rocking table in a dingy corner of the dining room for dinner. Kept awake for large proportions of the night by noisy revellers. Due to the service being so slow at breakfast we then had to cancel the postponed treatment because I wouldn't have made it in time! We paid for the most expensive suite and treatments. This is the first time I have ever left a review....

Nice location and a relaxing day spa. Not massive but it has all you need for a day break.

Had a nice overnight stay here with my husband which was bought for us as a gift. The best aspects were the outdoor pools, possibility to order drinks (including alcoholic) to your lounger in the pool area and the large hotel room which was in the spa building. Dinner was good but not excellent, breakfast was okay, service was quite mixed; in the spa it was good, in the restaurant it was okay and in the rest of the hotel it was slightly frosty. Overall I would say it's quite overpriced for the lack of luxury, we have been to much nicer and more luxurious hotels and spas for a similar price.
