Al Murad Tiles

Avoid. Avoid like the plague! After she had seen and ordered some tiles with the builder renovating her house my mother said she would buy tiles from them because they seemed "such nice boys". They are anything but. The tiles she chose were not the ones that were delivered. To make matters worse they had been delivered on a palette and unceremoniously dumped in our driveway. When the builders opened the boxes that had been at the bottom the tiles were found to be broken. Also, two of the bags of tiling adhesive where found to be split from the bottom. If this wasn’t bad enough completely the wrong floor tiles had been dispatched. When we called the show room (literally minutes after the delivery) to complain they accused us of having broken the tiles, opened the bags and that the floor tiles were the ones we had chosen. Also, if that wasn’t enough, that we would have to return them back ourselves and then collect the correct tiles. When we returned the tiles we showed them the receipt which CLEARLY and in PLAIN ENGLISH stated the style of tiles we wanted (which was CLEARLY different from those that they had delivered). In the end, after a couple of their staff stood around menacingly in the background, we gave up and transported the correct tiles back home after paying an extra £40 for THEIR inconvenience (they stated they had undercharged us! How, if we paid for the correct tiles in the first place?!). Our initial delivery charge was not reimbursed either! If their apathy and disdain weren’t enough when we got home we discovered that the boxes did not contain the correct number of tiles even though the paper work stated otherwise. Once more they tried to finagle money out of my mother’s purse and, as the builders had already started installing the tiles she had no recourse but to give in their trickery. They are con artists that will attempt to steal, wrangle and con you out of your money. In the end the tiles didn’t even look right. Do not fall for the displays in the show room. The colours are not true to life because of the lighting. Take a sample home with you first (assuming you are silly enough to go there). I don’t like people taking advantage of my mother (they ended up being not "such nice boys" in the end)and would hate for it to happen to you. STAY AWAY!

good service spoke to a guy with a beard cannot remember his name but he saved the day by calling a lot of branches in order for me to get my job done.

I wish if there was a negative button. I bought tiles from AlMurad in Slough and they were delivered to my address. The tiles delivered were wrong tiles the ones I chooses and the order was short too. TTile fitter fits the tiles until he told me that tiles are short but when I went into my property they weren't tiles the ones I chooses. I made a complain to the store manager Siraj who promised to give me the tiles I wanted but then he refused to as his HeadOffice refused to accept the fact. I will advise anyone going there please stay WELL WELL AWAY !!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE RUDE AND ABSOLUTELY JOKE !!!

From my visit to al murad i found a number problems with the layout of the show room ,they have alot stock gathering dust which i found disgusting and also the staff were so unprofessional and rude i had a number of problems actually understanding all of the staff i will not be visiting there ever again
