Fantastic. Superb service.
Delicious breakfast.
Was a bit worried given the low reviews and the horrendous service from the All Bar One next door (was worried that bad service was a Portsmouth thing), but waiters came over within moments of us sitting down outside.
Went inside for the food, which arrived quickly and promptly. I had asked for my bacon to be replaced with sausages and they forgot but within seconds they had sent out the sausages and let me keep the bacon too (which I gave to my mum lol). The waiters weren't even angry or annoyed (which happens surprisingly often if I mention a restaurant has gotten an order slightly wrong).
Really surprised by the bad reviews. Perhaps they have changed all their staff as a result of the bad reviews? Or maybe the ones working morning shifts are just really good and the complaints were for the other people (to clarify, all waiters were women). Because everything and everyone was super quick and efficient and the food tasted great.

Absolutely bewildered by the standard of the food served to me and my 3 guests . We all had the cheese and bacon burger 2 adults 2 kids . All served with fries (cold). Picture on menu looks quite tempting but I reckon the cook must have thrown the chips on the plate from the other side off the kitchen. As for the lettuce and sauce in with the burger, well I can see we’re they get there name from because the slug had eat the lettuce. Also when the kids finally got there ice cream in a sugar bowl we’re was the caramel sauce surely it’s not that hard to remember to squirt a bit on . Definitely will not be visiting again. You also need to sort the lifted pieces off flooring before some one sues you.

Not sure why the reviews say bad they have a deal for a burger of any choice fries and a pint for 7 pound ! Had it and it was wonderful and filling me and 4 guys all agree.

Downstairs where we ate the seating/tables are very close together & if you are sitting next to someone loud (we were) it can ruin your lunch.

Not a brilliant menu we had the fish & chips costing around £12 but although it was presented very nicely the batter wasn't that good.

Very poor standard of cooked food.
Waited 40 minutes for pudding. Waitress argued this and said she would check. Never came back!
Asked for bill and queried wait again with another waitress. Said the puddings had been taken off bill so there was no problem. 2 hours 35 minutes to be served poor quality food for which complaining didn't appear to be a concern to them.
