Amazing food amazing sevice! My favourite place to eat love the atmosphere. If you have never been you will not be disappointed. As for the price I would have been happy to pay twice what they charged us. Can't wait to go again.

Went there for an early dinner. We advised the waiter about my food intolerance and he was very accommodating. Had an absolutely superb meal, the food was excellent and the staff also. Compliments to the chef!

5 of us, in particular my very elderly parents, booked for evening meal and 4 of us ordered their beef Wellington. After waiting nearly 50 minutes and were really hungry for our food we received Wellington beef burgers instead of beef Wellington! They asked if we wanted to have those instead and non of us wanted to have a burger! We asked how long we would have to wait for the correct choice to be cooked and were advised another 30 minutes etc by this time we would have waited nearly 1hr 20 mins for something to eat. We asked for the bill and because we had had a round of drinks whilst waiting for our food we thought the least they could have done was to honour the drinks as an apology. Apart from apology from waiter no other apology from any senior staff was offered. Sadly will never be returning as didn't like their curt attitude towards us not accepting the burgers they offered as replacement or at the very least honour the drinks!

What an fantastic place. The food is amazing and the staff are great. I would recommend The Wellington to everyone.

When we are in old portsmouth we always go here. I've got walking difficulties and steps at the front a bit of a task,but once inside the staff and food are very good. Guinness good.
