Personally wouldn't stay again. After paying over £400 we expected a decent stay, however this was not the case. Very very noisy. Complained twice, and got two different stories as to why it was like this. Have both left full of cold due to lack of sleep and I missed a meeting as I was to exhausted to go. Yes earplugs are provided but the hotel should not assume everyone can wear them. The noise outside on a Saturday night was almost non existent, car parking was fab and housekeeping was excellent. Just the awful soundproofing that let it down, can hear people talking, people actually going to the loo, and the constant sound of niagra falls coming through our bathroom. We are due to be coming to Portsmouth again, but sadly I don't think we will be coming here.

Despite ordering a few minutes before the end of service on a busy Saturday night my party of five were treated well and the unpretentious food was well cooked and arrived with good speed. Portions were large but not overwhelming and my double burger with pulled pork, bacon and cheese was very satisfying and excellent value at £15. Will happily visit again.
