Beautiful Pub. Amazing location. It's not really worth the effort to get there if you are a "foodie." The service was good. Friendly staff. I would have given the place a 1star if the location wasn't so good. Have a pint. Get something to eat elsewhere.

Spice island is definitely worth a visit. A great selection of wines, spirits and beers. A varied menu for meals or snacks but above all fantastic views of the Spinnaker and harbour.

Nice pub with good view. Food is good and portions are okay but some beers are extremely pricey (more than £5 a pint). Could easily spend a whole afternoon watching the world go by from this cosy pub!

Loved it! The staff were friendly and helpful; the food and drinks were good. Great venue to just watch what's going on around Old Portsmouth!

Absolutely awful. 4 meals ordered 3 suet puddings came out cold and/or frozen in the middle. Was offered for them to be done again. Emm no thanks! If your chefs aren't probing 3 meals to check all cooked I don't want anything from that kitchen. Birthday meal out ruined. Cancelled and refund for meals paid for. Not even a "complimentary" drink offered just a scant apology then manager disappeared. You've now lost 4 regular diners
