Nearly left because the pub was packed on a Sunday afternoon. We were impressed that the staff asked non diners to move so that we could get a table for six. Meals where nice pub food, hot and plentiful. Couple of draft ales available. Outside dining area available.

Bustling with locals and visitors to shipyard on a Friday afternoon. Pleasant staff. The peeps and staff made it a feel good place for a few pints and a meal too ! Recommend the Cammenbert/beet tart (pie).

I stop off here to wait for my train or coach, great for a pint. Fine selection of booze. Looses two stars for food. Had a couple of meals here. Its your standard Greene King food. Average price, average quality and poor Portions.

We went in Sunday afternoon very busy bar staff a bit stressed. Maybe at a different time staff might be a bit happier. Apart from that a pleasant enough pub. Guinness was good.

Just got off the train, looking for some lunch and an adult beverage; came here and have to say it was a good decision. Warmly welcomed, friendly staff, lovely food. It also looks like a proper pub should.
