A great hang out for catching up with friends, great setting and some really nice flavoured ciders. The rhubarb one was really good. Brilliant atmosphere for young and older visitors to the pub.

The environment was good and the staff friendly and hard working but; not enough staff. A queue for food and drink that was ridiculous for a lunchtime. The portion of chips was clearly meant for an under five as there were so few. The cheese in the cheese and chutney sub was very scant and lacked flavour and was dwarfed by the dough mountain of bread. Not my first choice for a speedy good value lunch...

Food is inexpensive and there are some really good deals but it's not mind blowing. Friendly staff but some tables were dirty. Good for a couple of drinks with friends; really casual.

Really quite hit and miss with this pub . However the majority of the time it's lovely, friendly and the food is mostly excellent.
