I visited this store today upon recieving information from the SKECHERS WEBSITE that I am allowed to return items to ANY store as long as I have the relevant proof of purchase, i.e a receipt, which I did. When I approached the young gent who offered to serve me, I then tried to proceed with said return, to then be told, quite dismissively, may I add, that they can not complete the return procedure as it is the wrong store even though he was actually supposed to do this in all honesty, it just felt like he was being very dismissive and he couldn't wait to get home. I didn't catch the fellas name, but I do have his description which I will post because I found his behaviour absolutely unprofessional to say the least, I then had to travel across Birmingham to the original store to be told that the guy from the other store was completely wrong for doing this. The other store handled it absolutely fantastic but the bullring store, you need to take a close look at the customer service handbook. Also to add, I have never been treated so dismissive by any other member of Skechers staff, no matter the store. They've always been top notch and really friendly so it isn't all of them and I must say that. It's just a shame to let one bad apple spoil the cart. He was a short, skinny bald fella with a high pitched voice, like I said, he mustn't have wsnnted to be there but hes the only member of skechers staff ive ever had an issue with. Will be formally complaining on their website as well.
Purchased 2 pairs of shoes today however painful customer service. Both the manager and the lady who served us were on a rush to go home although by the time we were paying, there were still 20 minutes to closing. Very unprofessional attitude. More focused on cleaning and lining up the shoes then on the customer service of spending customers. Very disappointing.

Good shop with a decent range. Not as expensive as I thought. They also provide you with a very cool reusable bag when you buy anything.
Marvellous visit to the Bullring shop today , delightful helpful staff, a wonderful range. This was my first purchase of sketchers footwear, I wore them home and they are wonderful. Great value as well, cheaper than expected. My wife has had these before , but had to buy some new ones while there. With those colours, why wouldn't you?
Really disappointed . Went to the shop on Sunday, purchased 3 pairs of shoes, 2 ok, the other.....got home opened the box, 2 different shoes in 1 box!!! . Couldn't believe it!! Took back to store, apologized but, no discount etc.... really upset by this. CHECK SHOES BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE!!!!
Visited this store yesterday 01/07 for a browse. We were seen to by a staff member who swiftly got the size from the stock room. Both staff members were amazing, and treated us like royalty. Cannot thank them enough, customer service is brilliant, so approachable yet not pushy. Best shop interaction we've had for a long time, thank you! From the big-footed woman and daughter :
I cannot thank the staff enough in particular Jo for the incredible service I received in their store. I was extremely unsure as to what I needed but Jo’s patience, kindness and understanding was something I had never experienced before. I felt under no time pressure or any pressure to buy any of the numerous shoes that I was trying on and as someone who finds shoe shopping stressful, it was an uplifting and wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this store to anyone.
I was at the store second time and yesterday I was so upset of customer service assistant, young lady looked at me like "go away" when I came to her to ask if they have another shoes size and without checking said that's only size. It was couple times. Another young lady was pleasant and checked if they have what we need and they had needed size. We bought two pairs today because I love Sketchers.
Visited the Bullring Birmingham branch a few days ago and cannot heap enough praise on the service received. We were looked after by Wei who was exceptional - her customer service and product knowledge exceeded all expectations. The manager of the store was also very attentive and customer service focussed. We went away with some purchases that we are delighted with. Well done Skechers and the Bullring Birmingham branch in particular.
