Good directions to pick up - and esp. return - car. Staff very helpful, at office and p/u site. Gare du Nord a central location - easy walk from our hotel. Of course, must be prepared for traffic in the area - it's Paris! - but not that difficult. [am from US, 1st time driving in France]. Price was fair as well. Recommend.

Do not rent from Sixt. They provided us with a car with less than 100km I'm range of fuel remaining in a country in the grips of a Gas crisis. We picked up our car in Paris to go to Disneyland for 2 days. We ended up having to abandon the vehicle at Disneyland for the entire rental because we did not have enough gas to wait in the 2-3hr lines to fill the tank. I spent 4 hrs of our second day at Disney getting hung up on or transfered to different departments by their customer service department, or waiting for a tow truck that was supposed to just pick up the vehicle. The tow truck ended up putting 5L of gas in the car and charging us €30 for the experience. Thankfully that was enough to get us to Orly the next morning. I can only assume they are going to try and charge us for filling the tank to full from the level we dropped it off at, even though it was empty when we picked it up. I know that all rental car companies are reputably terrible compared to those I'm North America, but Sixt cost me and my family 50% of our Disney vacation and I would never rent a car from them again under any circumstance. I get that a national gas crisis likely created a lot of problems for most renters, but their unwillingness to assist in any way was the real problem. Do not make the same mistake we did. In my honest opinion, just don't rent a car in Europe for any reason unless absolutely necessary. They are all corrupt and will take advantage of any foreigner.
Just got scammed by these people. Booked an initial car for 250eur for 3 days. Guy at the counter wants to upgrade me to a nicer car plus full insurance for €430, which I accept. Without thinking I give my card and the terminal does not show me the amount, I then leave, the guy at the counter does not provide me with any sales confirmation, in a rush I think nothing of it. I then check my bank account. They took over 1000EUR of my card!!!! How can a company like this not police their staff?? I will be going back tomorrow and if I can’t get my money back, this will go straight to the local police.
The worst experience ever. Booked a car for 3,000 euros a month they convinced me to upgrade for 4,000 and when I gave back the car which when I took, was dirty, without fuel or adblue or windshield liquid, they charged me 5,000 euros. . They did not even reimburse me the bills that they had collected. Thé worse bit is that no one has been answering to any of my queries, not even replying to the calls, although they promised to fix it when I went to see them. Has had an awful customer experience with Simon, Marvin, Zouhair …. Only a young trainee called Christopher tried to help, but he was powerless I am afraid. And I am writing after almost 2 months of waiting and expecting them to contact me. Never again!
The vehicle condition at pickup was not acceptable. There was a tyre pressure light and we checked with the staff. He assured us the pressure was ok. We were worried as we had to drive for long distance. So we had to spend close to an hour to check it again. We left the carpark closer to 12pm. We had a flat tire a few days after that and had to wait more than 5 hours for a tow truck and another 10 hours for a replacement car. The roadside assistance number was not reachable and we had to call more than 10 numbers as each gave us a different number to call. That delay incurred an extra night for hotel as we had booked at another place that we were not able to reach due to the car breakdown. When we pick up the replacement car, it was filthy with water bottles, tissues and face mask still left in the car and the fuel was not full. We had to wait about 50min for the staff to drive it out to refuel the car. On the return of the car, we return at 12pm as we had trouble finding petrol kiosk due to the strikes, which was also not informed to us beforehand. The manager at the return place assured us that we will not be penalised. However, when we received the final bill, we will charged for 1 extra day and also fuelling cost and service fee for the first car that breakdown due to flat tyre.
Amazing customer service during collection of car, we got a complimentary upgrade with clear instructions to collect our car! Sixt never fails to impress me and always outperform other car rental companies!
Tucked away in the northern part of Paris, but the people at the Sixt location are outstanding to work with. Thank you all for a great car and great service.
Stay away from this company. These people are crooks. They put my life in danger, renting a vehicle with both back tires being completely dead the thread was apparent on both tires. After a few hundred kilometers one of the tires went flat. They will also charge you for damages that don't exist. Absolutely ZERO customer service, I've tried having a representative call me numerous times but to no avail. Seriously do yourself a favor and stay away from these frauds.
I left my valentine gift in the car and have been chasing them for a while. No one answers. It is just as simple as checking the car!! So disappointed!!
