Hired a car here for a few days for a family wedding in Kent. We decided to do the Lucky dip option of a high end car. We were not disappointed. The service was above and beyond, and johnathan Lees was attentive personal, would highly reccomend. The car we got was BMW 3series Msport, was Amazing, plush inside and comfortable, and lovely to drive in. Will be using this company again.

Convenient location. Sixt rates and cars are good, in general. But confusion over what car was booked online overseas, to what equivalent car was offered in UK. Not the same. Somewhat helpful staff, but could not offer the original car booked, without an upgrade and expense. Car offered was inappropriate and uncomfortable for a family of 4.

Since last summer I have been hiring a lot of cars. 10 years ago I had a lot of good experiences with Sixt, but the last couple of months they were average compared to other companies. But, I have to say, my compliments to the Southampton branch of Sixt. They did their absolute best. I will be coming back here! Special shout out to Adrian at car return.

Do not use for van hire Tried to charge me £590 for a dent which luckily I was able to prove was there before I left. The £590 was to cover the repair- none of the other dents had been repaired and frankly - it’s a van!! Van was nice.. Apple play etc but not worth the hassle of 5 days worth of back and forth sorting this out and if you do have a bump- you will be charged ridiculous amounts for repair Use alco in Winchester- much more sensible If you must use make sure you take a detailed video of the car before leaving and after drop off. On a plus side, the customer facing guy in the rental cabin was a delight!

I recently rented a car from Sixt Car rental company in Southampton Airport and was fortunate to be assisted by Matt. I was a bit concerned about renting a car as I had recently converted to a UK driving license, but Matt was extremely considerate and helpful in explaining the situation to me. He went out of his way to make sure that everything was in order so that I could rent a car without any hassle.  Throughout the rental process, Matt provided exceptional customer service and assistance. He was patient and answered all my questions, making sure that I understood everything before signing any documents. Even after I returned the car, he called to check if everything went well and to ensure that I had a positive experience with Sixt Car rental company.  Overall, I would highly recommend Sixt Car rental company in Southampton Airport for their excellent customer service and attention to detail. And a special shout-out to Matt for going above and beyond to make my experience a positive one. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy car rental company, Sixt is the one to go for. Thank you, Matt and Sixt, for making my experience so seamless and stress-free.

Probably the worst Car Rental service in my life ....  They pulled the classic trick: booked a limousine and they tried to give me a Fiat 500 .... Had to pay about 25 GBP per day to get it upgrated so I can fit my wife, child and luggage for traveling.  No staff or indications regarding drop-off ... Horrible experience

Through my company I hire a car from the guys at Sixt Southampton for a week every month and find their service excellent. Would thoroughly recommend.

For anyone dropping off a vehicle out of hours, you need to enter the paid official multistory southampton airport parking which is located down the road. See google. Once in there try and follow the signage to sixt and park in any bay you find. The key box to drop the key had moved and is now opposite the parking pay machines before you reach the airport terminal.  All the information online is wrong, the address of the drop off is not on wide lane, and the key box is not in the terminal building opposite the check in desks as it states on the website. Hope this helps someone else have a better faster experience than me.  Utter shambles.

Amazing customer service, they go above and beyond.  Super friendly and helpful!  Highly recommended.
