I booked my car with Europcar via Orbit. Easy pick up and drop off, very pleasant staff throughout and super little car. Good value for money I would certainly use them again and highly recommend.
The easiest airport hire car. Fast in and out and they check the car on return so no surprise charges after return. They also have be trying this new thing called "customer service", which is quite good.
The Eurocar vehicles are great, but be aware that you do have the option of declining the insurance coverage, and be sure you know how to get the car into REVERSE if you are getting a standard sift car the collar on the gear shift that must be lifted is not obvious.
Concerned about dropping car of before EUROPCAR team started for work, however thanks to google earth picture on the side of the europcar shed , I could see they had a key drop off area.. so all good .. would have been nice if eurocar had something on there website to advise you though..
Excellent service from local manager. Pick up was quick, efficient and friendly. Car was clean and brand new. Drop off at Heathrow was a different story. Staff there were unable/unwilling to help me to find a way back to my local hotel. Recommend only dropping off if you are flying out that day.
Our first time using Europcar was a very positive one, from pick-up, the car to drop off.
Awesome car to drive the VW Golf. Great team at Southampton airport.
Our flight was delayed by an hour so that we arrived after 4pm. As a result all the Europcar desks and cabin were closed and so we were totally abandoned and couldn’t collect our car. We’d already paid but had no choice other than to find an alternative ourselves. Went straight to another company who were not only open but also really helpful. Would definitely recommend Enterprise instead! Will never book Europcar again.

Use europecar at Southampton airport 4/5 times a year. Cannot fault them, top service every time from Terry and team. Check in process takes less than a minute and always get the car I’ve booked or better.
