Nice restaurant over looking the river in Newcastle, good food and service, worth a visit , gave it 4 stars because it was a little over priced for what you got

Went for the lunch deal (3 course) which we had been given a voucher for as a present. 3 starters to choose from, 2 of which were fish. I don't eat fish. 3rd choice was a raw beetroot thingy, quite nice, but not something I would normally opted for. More fish on the main course, so I opted for the smoked beef sausages with mash and broccoli. Sausages actually turned out to be a single sausage, which was barely lukewarm! Mash was lumps of potato - even the mash I had at school dinners in the 1960s was less lumpy than this. The apple crumble was lovely, but when you get ripped off for drinks, get tiny portions, and they then present the bill with the optional 10% service charge applied even to the value of the voucher we had been given as a present, I had had enough of this place. I certainly don't see me rushing back!
