Went on a Saturday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised when we got there to find out we could take our dogs inside. Was recommended by a friend because of the food and was not let down. Not a massive menu but everything was spot on with presentation and taste was amazing, portion sizes are proper. A good range of beers for the adults and a bowl of water and doggy treats at the bar for the fur babies, brilliant.

A bit off the beaten track and you will find a pub that has charm, great food, a nice range of drinks an open fire and entertainment to match. Can't believe I've been living in Gateshead so long and not known about this place. We went for lunch during the week it was quiet but it was worth it! If this is the second best bar in Gateshead I need to know what is the first!? 😀👍 great name too...

We went here as we were looking for somewhere we could take our kids, dog and get a good meal and we weren't disappointed! Friendly staff, punters, atmosphere, we felt welcome the moment we stepped through the doors. The food was excellent and I really enjoyed my ginger cider. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a dog and child friendly pub with food.

This is a hidden gem of gateshead. Food on offer all day and it's lovely. High chairs if you have a small one on the beer and it looks like a local only but it's nothing but friendly as you open the door. We will be back :). Good music, craft beer and no local idiots ha.
